1.MECHANICAL ENGINEER
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Provide technical assistance to Offshore Operations group for optimum functioning of mechanical equipment (excluding major rotating machinery) and piping on Carigali Hess facilities including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, cranes, lifting equipment, HVAC, chemical injection skids, air compressors,process and utility (centrifugal and positive displacement) pumps.
* Carry out technical studies and participate in multi-discipline activities of the section to ensure that production rates are maintained and targets are achieved.
* Cover technical issues related to process and utility equipment and piping during facility upgrade/modification projects.
* Ensure that all changes/modifications in mechanical equipment and piping are in compliance with relevant international codes, standards and Carigali Hess specifications.
* Review and ensure that documents, drawings and other information supplied by third parties are accurate.
* Initiate, plan, put in place, monitor, control and administer contracts for detail engineering design, minor fabrication and OEM vendor assistance.
* Liaise with Contractors, equipment manufacturers and other third parties and ensure that the interests of Carigali Hess are always maintained.
* Lead and coach junior engineer in the team.
* Visit offshore facilities frequently to conduct data acquisition and surveillance activities.
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years 5.SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Providing assistance to the other personnel in the Process Engineering Group i.e. the Developmental Process Engineer and the Process Safety Engineer (positions currently vacant, to be filled ASAP)
* Assists in completing facilities modifications and administrates the management of change (MOC) system. This includes assisting or leading process safety reviews/HAZOPS as necessary for facilities changes and modifications ensuring that all agreed recommendations and changes resulting from such reviews are incorporated into the design.
* Provides input along with the other Technical Specialists for the development of technical specifications, procedures, and scopes of work for defining modifications, improvements and process changes to the existing offshore facilities. This includes overseeing the detailed process design, preparation of the scope of work and technical specifications, review of Engineering Work packs, and coordinating between platform facilities specialists, offshore personnel and engineering contractors.
* Assists in ensuring that all engineering drawings and documentation (i.e. P&ID抯, cause and effect matrixes, etc) are kept up-to-date for the facilities.
* Significant interaction with contractors is required during engineering/technical studies and when modifications are made to the existing facilities.
* Provides assistance in monitoring and analyzing the facilities operating and production data to troubleshoot problems within the Platform process and utilities systems. This will involve carrying out process simulation studies and calculations as required.
* Visits to offshore facilities will be required on a frequent basis to conduct surveillance and troubleshooting activities to optimize and/or improve the throughput capacity of the facility and ensure that the necessary availability targets can be met.
* Make process/facilities presentations as requested to management, shareholders, MTJA and other interested parties
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or other acceptable related degree.
* More than 10 years offshore oil & gas experience with at least 2 years in a senior process position within an Operating Company.
* Process design office experience as either contractor lead engineer or client抯 process representatives.
* Hands-on experience in all aspects of offshore gas field process engineering including process computer simulation, development of PFD抯 and P&ID抯 and equipment sizing and specification. Facilities handled should include gas separation, drying, treating and compression and condensate handling and stabilization.
* Experience in the design of systems for large scale removal of CO2 from hydrocarbon gas, including membranes, amine wash and other relevant methods.
