Ni cara orang cina makan steam boat.

Mula mula kami masukkan - tofu. Bila tofu dah boleh dimakan kita angkat dan makan dgn soya sauce yang telah dicampur spring onion, cili sikit. Ada juga yang suka cicah dgn chili boh (yang ditambah vinegar sikit)

Bila tofu dah habis --- baru lah kami masukkan udang, fish ball, sotong ball, telor puyuh or daging ikan (only ikan bawal putih) keep tambah sampai bahan ni semua habis dicelur dan di makan

last baru masuk meehoon and sayur and telor ayam. Why? sebab kuah sup tu dah ada taste (dari udang, ikan) so bila masukkan mee hoon baru lah terasa keenakkan nya :)

suka masak camni, cam rasa main pondok pondok.. hehe
Hari tu kami buat raclette cheese grill..
nanti buat fondue pulak ala ala steamboat....

lepas ni nak try buat la....cam sedap jer time2 winter nie....

2 thn lepas pernah makan kat rumah member....dia buat steamboat segala seafoods lepas tu dia letak telor cam style poach egg....sedap gaks...tapi masa mula2 makan rasa loya gak...tapi lelama sedap laks....

Periuk tu dkt sini USD$21.00 jer. Dapur tu pulak USD$11.00 Gas dapur tu walaupun dlm balang kecik tapi cukup utk majlis selama dua jam lebih. Satu tin USD$1.50 seng kot.

Kalau dkt Malaysia vtec cari dlm thread ni -- dulu kak Dar ada baca depa tulis dkt mana dan harga tapi kena start dari first page lah ya sebab tak ingat dkt page berapa. Tui pu chee :tq:

Haa kalau buat segala mak neka seafoods memang sedap! pernah tak makan elephant clams? sangat sesuai utk dimakan dlm upacara steam boat. Manis jer rasa dia. But I never put craps. :)


Tips: Cendawan tu kalau dah gelap warna dia cuci dgn air garam. Nanti dia akan jadi putih bersih gitu :)

elephant clams tu cam kupang kat johor tu ker??? yg cam kerang tapi beso dan kulit kat luar licin....seafoods i like most is retak seribu aka lala apart from kerang...hmmmm yummieh...

p.s. craps or crabs k dar????  :hmm::hmm::hmm:

hari ni me buat steamboat atau sini panggil fondue meat... tak banyak bahan sebab yang sediakan semua ni laki me.. kalau me yang shopping, memang sah banyak cam dar buat..

boleh, fondue cheese, meat dan coklat.
besok mungkin buat fondue coklat pulak sebab buah-buahan dan coklat dah beli....

3 yellow eggs (laki me kata fresh egg lagi elok)
tea spoon of salt
t\s pepper
some lemon juice

blend slowly semua bahan di atas until thicken.
then pouring the oil litte by little.
Blend again until lagi pekat.
sejukkan sekejap dalam peti ais.. then siap.

nway, kita nya mak pon slalu gak buat steamboat.. steamboat base dia camni:

Ingredients:
for the soup
3 cloves garlic, sliced
2cm ginger, sliced
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cube beef stock ( I normally use Maggie's Beef Stock )
spring onion ( daun bwg )
chinese corriander ( daun sup )
water ( You can adjust to how thick or thin you want your steamboat soup to be )
salt to taste
*dry chillie if you want it to be spicy

How to make:
1. Stir fry garlic and ginger in sesame oil until fragrant. Pour in water and bring to a boil
2. Add in the beef stock and let simmer until stock's dissolves. Add in spring onions and chinese corriander. Simmer for 5-6 minutes and throw in the stuff you want to put in your steamboat; prawns, fishballs, veggies..etc
* add in fish/prawns first, before dumping in the fishballs and veggies to give the the base extra flavor
* saute chillie with garlic and ginger to give your base a tint of spicyness

slalu mak buat sos utk cicah pakai minced garlic, oyster sauce, kicap cair and cili api..sedappppppp sgt :love: sapa yg sudi try base ni, silakan lah yerr :) dijamin sedap..plus simple & senang dibuat!

lebih kurang sama resepi yg me buat isnin lepas.
cuma daun sup tak letak sbb daun sup sini tak wangi tak best.
