RESEPI KHUSUS UNTUK VEGETARIAN

Since di thread PERTANYAAN, Mummy_Qistina bertanya pasal resepi untuk vegetarian & dah search thread seperti ni tak ada, saya buka thread ni untuk warga F&R berkongsi resepi2 yang sesuai untuk golongan vegetarian

pernah makan kat satu restaurant vegetarian kat sini.

die msk mihun goreng tapi nampak mcm boh ayam.

tanye la die.rup2nye bukan ayam,tapi tauhu.

kedai die sume makanan based on tauhu ngn tauhu kering tu.

kalau dah goreng nampak mcm ayam atau daging:)

I'm not that sure about vege's restaurant in KL...
It depends..which vegetarian are u? Some they can take eggs, some they cant take anything which bleeds...

Rasanya..we dont have indeks about this topic..and mod Nhuda ever open this thread but no response...
But hey...lets try again...anybody can share any recipes especially made for vegetarian here...:tea:

meh nak start share resepi utk vegetarian
firstly kene kenalpasti vegetarian yang camno...
my recipe nih utk vegetarian yg boleh makan bawang n garlic

ni resepi dari archive tau..

Nasi Goreng Kacang Peas

kena sediakan nasik terlebih dahulu:
beras
kacang peas tin kecik - diblend kacang bersama airnya
hirisan halia
sedikit planta/butter
daun pandan
basuh beras..masukkan air secukupnya
masukkan kacang pis yg diblend, planta n daun pandan
masak cam biasa..n gembur n sejukkan

bhn utk nasi goreng:
bwg putih - smashed n cincang
kacang pis
cendawan butang - potong dua
carrot - mayang mcm matchstick
kacang pjg - hiris kecik2
tauhu -goreng terbih dahulu then dadu kecik

cili merah - hiris
campuran minyak+ minyak bijan
sos cendawan shiitake
kicap cair
garam gula secukup rasa
lada sulah

Cara
1. panaskan minyak n saute garlic till golden..
2. masukkan semua sayuran tadi ..buh sos cendawan, kicap cair, garam gula n sedikit lada sulah
masukkan nasi...
3. gaul rata n kacau hingga masak
4. sprinkle dgn lada sulah..
5. hidangkan dgn taburan bwg goreng n hirisan daun sup/bwg

bleh gak hidang dgn sayuran yg dikukus pastu sprinkle dgn minyak bijan, sos tiram vegetarian skettt aje n lada sulah
tabur dgn bawang putih goreng

Tofu Jepun bersos Halia

utk vegetarian gunakan tofu jepun yg berwarna putih dlm tube plastik..jgn guna egg tofu tau
seperti biasa..bahan2 tu silalah agak yerr..saya main campak2 jek selalunyer

tofu jepun - potong n dust dgn tepung jagung n sedikit garam pastu deep fried till golden, tos n ketepikan
bwg putih goreng
hirisan daun bawang n cili merah

sos halia :
jus halia - tumbuk halia then perah airnya
sedikit sos tiram vegetarian
air secukupnya
tepung jagung
lada sulah
garam n gula secukup rasa
sedikit minyak bijan atau minyak bwg putih

gaul rata semua bahan n kacau dia atas api hingga pekat
curahkan ke atas tofu yg telah digoreng then taburkan bawang putih goreng beserta hirisan daun bwg n cili merah

rimbun pon tgh kumpul resepi vegetarian niii... most of it guna tauhu or soy based n simple resepi jerr. This one got it from allrecipe.com(kalau tak silap lerr)
very simple n the taste not bad lerrr

err, alkisahnyer camni. im a malay.. but my so-called besfren is a non-muslim, n he's a  vegetarian..he was born vegetarian. d whole fmly mmg vegetarian, tok nenek ayah mak segala (dats wat he said).

but bila dah lama kami kenal ni, dia mcm terpengaruh dgn senah. fyi, i nvr asked him 2 eat anythg yg dia xleh mkn..wlpn dgn cara bergurau. never! i do respect him, bcos i pun x suka kalau org tiba2 bergurau suruh i makan pork, sentap gak senah.

camtu la yg i amalkn kalo kluar dgn dia. but luckily dia ckp x kisah kalau periuk belanga tu dah digunakan b4 dat (means, dh guna utk msk benda lain la). tp tu la, kalo kluar dgn dia, dia akan order "nasik grg sayur, mee grg sayur, bihun grg sayur, kuetiau grg sayur". but dia boleh mkn egg, tp sket2 je. x lalu katanya.
itu je menu dia ulang2. sian gak kt dia.
dia penah bwk senah gi mkn vegetarian restaurant kt sri serdang, chinese one. erm, senah xmkn sbb.. ntah la, bkn nk kata x yakin.. obviously kedai tu halal sbb vegetarian kan? kalo dia guna wine ke, ape.. x tau la plak.. (but ade ke?) so senah amik keputusan yg slmt, x mkn..

but, tu la... sian gak kt budak tu kalo kami kluar mkn.. nk gak pegi vegetarian shop yg senah yakin leh mkn..

Pada pendapat I, tak semestinya kedai vegetarian chinese tu halal...sebab sometimes..u tak tau laks dapur dia cam mana rupa,..
ingrediants yang dia campur tu..ntah dr mana dia purchase..ada ke they all tgk certified halal ke dak...better choose restaurant yang mmg certified..:D

yup, dia mkn bwg n garlic.. dia ada ckp, mmg ada fahaman hindu yg xmkn bwg/garlic, sebabnya.. menurut kepercayaan dorang benda2 tu akan meningkatkan nafsu batin.. (itu yg dia ckp la.. senah dgr je) but luckily he's not 1 of them.. kalo x, lg susah nak bawak dia kluar mkn.

tu yg senah nk tnya, ada x vegetarian shop yg halal, n senah nak gak try masakkn utk dia 1 day..

Yeahhh Ninoz, tepat sekali. In fact bnyk calcium, iron & nutrients bnyk terdpt dlm sayur2an compared dgn red meat, poultry etc.

My doc pun told me to cut down on `dead meat' food - this comprises of chicken, meat, seafood etc.  Because most of these food have been polluted with chemicals especially chicken - injected with antibiotics to speed up their growth.  

Kalau nak makan jugak ayam jangan makan bahagian wings - this is where the chickens are given the injection.  Kalau daging pulak - everyone knows its high in kolestrol jahat.  

Now for main meals (lunch & dinner) I make sure I cook heaps of vegetables or prepare a large bowl of salad for my family.

salad tak taruk ciken pun still sedap..provided kita pelbagaikan rasa n texture bahan2 salad.. bleh taruk nuts, bleh buh crouton, n pelbagai jenis daun salad yg available.. ade bitter sket cth endive, ade yg peppery sket, ade yg sweet, ade yg mild..mcm2 adaaaaa
tak semestinya stick to daun salad, timun, tomato, capsicum n celery aje

Macam Ninoz replied - I put nuts in my salads.  Usually I letak roasted almonds in the salad because almonds are good for the brain.  My father in-law has advanced alzheimer.  I don't my hubby to end up like my father in-law.  

My usual salad consists of pre-packed salads which you can get from Jusco, Tesco etc.  But I'll enrich with other things - peppers, nuts, olives, potatoes, raisins, dates, dried cranberries....... anything delicious and topped with a light dressing.  

I still cook chicken but usually baked - because its so much easier than other methods (fried, grill, steam etc).  

As for vegetables - I mostly stir fry.  Main campak-campak je.  But I try to include different colours eg. carrots with broccoli and baby corn.  Spinach with red and yellow peppers. ....... you get the idea.  :loveliness:

Pasta Salad

- any shaped pasta (my favourites are the tri-coloured ones sebab cantik!)
- vegetables (anything goes here according to your tastebuds.  I usually use carrots (shredded thinly), olives, boiled broccoli, baby tomatoes, sliced cucumbers/zuchini, peppers (any colour)
- for added zing : I add roasted garlic, cheese (parmesan or cheddar depending what I have in the fridge), salt, pepper
- boiled sliced eggs
- dressing (I use mayo, lemon juice and some olive oil)

Cook pasta as per instructions until al dente.  
Drain and rinse in cold water, and let cool.

Chop up the vegetables you are adding, and make dressing.

Once cool, add all other ingredients you have chosen from the above list, adding the dressing last.

Cool in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.

Voila! Dah siap! :)
