aku penah pon pegi zoo tu..entah laaa bukan x minat tp aku pon x tahu kenaperrr  anyway zoo melaka aku penah gi..mmg bestlaa..sampai lembik aku berjalan..

sebab macam teratur sikit
and saya suka crocodile show tu -
yang masuk kepala dia dalam mulut crocs tu

btw - taman buaya yang BEST none other
kat batu 6 - kat kuching tu --

singgahla  -  not sure kalau singa tu masih kurus lagi -
rambut pun macam gugur --

dia kena pakai syampu pantene, utk kurangkan rambut gugur..

btw, aku slalu lalu jer, tp nk masuk tuh, cam tak der feel jer..
kecik2 dulu mmg parents aku rajin bwk, tp, nama pn kecik2. tk ingt ape yg ade kt dlm tuh.

Clean-up at zoo to mark Earth Day

KUALA LUMPUR: Earth Day was marked with around 300 volunteers cleaning and planting trees in the compound of Zoo Negara yesterday.  

Gathering as early as 8am, the volunteers, with some as young as 12, removed all rubbish, cleaned up a stream and planted trees.  

Earth Day falls on April 22 and celebrated globally with conservation and volunteering activities which could last up to a month.  

Media Prima Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Farid Ridzuan, who led a team of about 100 volunteers from the TV3 fan grouping MyTV3, said it was everyone抯 responsibility to ensure that the Earth's natural heritage was looked after.

i feel that zoo melaka is better.

but there is always room for improvement. i had been to San Diego Zoo, S'pore Zoo, Taronga Zoo in Sydney & Australia Zoo. S'pore zoo & Australia Zoo lebih kurang sama la coz theay are 'sister' zoo. San Diego Zoo is also one of my best experience sebab dia buat concept ala-ala safari gi tu.

nways, my sons had a really good time kat Australia Zoo. walaupun kakiku ada sikit mcm mau patah from all that walking.

and compared to all these zoos mentioned above .... m'sia punya entrace fee terlampau la ciput. that explains why zoo negara barely survive becoz the cost of maintaining animals is not cheap. and not only a zoo needs good zoo keepers but also excellent facility as well as good vets. all that kena ada $$$

thus its good that zoo negara adakan Earth Day-Clean up Zoo. that will sedikit sebanyak give people a chance to contribute to our own National Zoo and give an insight of how it is running a zoo.

Zoo Melaka lum pernah pegi..tapi dngr  ceter...menarik...

paling menarik Zoo kat Spore....never miss to visit every year

mungkin ada sesuatu yg blh dilakukan nanti utk zoo kita....

beautiful landscape too

kalau kat malaysia  saya suka zoo melaka
dan taman buaya kat kuching sarawak -

mas dah pegi zoo tu ...10 x.... ....."Night Safari"....thrill!!!

penat tapi bebaloi.....

kalau kat Aust.....pernah ke "koala sanctuary".....puas hati tengok
koala......

kat taronga zoo you can actually see the city. beautiful landscaping!!!!

but my fav would still be Australia Zoo coz my boys had so much fun feeding the goats, cows, kangaroos and elephants.

kat melbourne zoo - depa punya maintenance memang first class-
binatang binatang pun nampak sihat --
tak la nampak macam rambut nak gugur macam singa kat
national zoo di ulu klang -

dan banyak binatang yang rare  depa ada -
all those different kind of frogs! --   memang geli
(sebab saya takut katak)  --
beautiful koala bears -
yang best hippos !!!
kolam dia  kita boleh tengok hippos tu berenang
dari dalam -- nampak hippos tu swim - cute betul -
muka hippos tu macam seram gak - besar  even just
a baby hippos -

dulu kat national zoo - kita boleh naik gajah  keldai  etc -
tak tahu la sekarang -- rasa macam tak ada aje -
yang saya paling ingat kat national zoo  di Ulu Klang -
boleh snap pictures dengan baboon  ke orang utan yang
rambut dia color burgundy tu --  --

lagi satu - ular ular kat zoo memang menyeramkan -
tu part yang paling saya macam seram sikit -

and i am glad kalau zoo negara nak dibaik pulih --
bagus untuk budak2 akan datang -- biarla depa kenal banyak
binatang2 kat dunia ni

most of the zoos yang i pergi...Woodland Park Zoo, WA..San Diego Zoo..Denver Zoo..maintenance semua memang first class lahhh..last i went to our national zoo is last year...konon2 nak bawak anak buah tengok wild life semua..tapi memang sedih tengok nasib zoo tu dengan nasib binatang dekat situ yang entah apape

nak mengaum pun macam tak larat --

lagi pula depa sedang buat projek naik taraf zoo ni --
kalau depa buat some persembahan dan sebagainya

macam  boleh letak ular kat leher ka  -
or  salam dengan gajah ka --

what i am trying to say is -- all these boleh
attract more tourist  as well more citizen
to pay a visit and learn more about binatang --
(some animals only can be found in malaysia zoo -
macam tapir - yang dah hampir extinct - mana ada
kat zoo lain  saya rasa )

yup..tapir aka tenuk takde dekat sini...hahaha..ohh dexa ni perempuan rupanya...kekekeke...ingat laki.. lawak OK harimau dah tak larat mengaummmm..ahahhaha..harimau pun dah tau nak mogokkk

dexa..that was about 25 years ago...dah ada cucu gamaknyer derang..kalo ada baka ler..

thing is in other countries, Zoos are a tourist attraction. thats why la they put in loads of money and research and what nots into it.

i have to praise Aquaria tho. despite lacking of sign boards on where the Aquaria really is, i must say it is a superb tourist attraction. kinda reminds me of Sydney Aquarium. so hats off to this mega million project.
