A new album?

Following rumours in last weekend's News Of The World regarding Kylie recording a new album, LiMBO can reveal that it is indeed true that she is about to start work on new material, but the details of the article miss the mark somewhat! Also, new Kylie statue, and In Our Eyes update.
The UK's News Of The World reported last weekend that Kylie was currently working on a new album, entitled 'Lessons', adding that not only was the whole album based around her struggle with breast cancer, but also that it would include a duet with boyfriend Olivier Martinez! LiMBO can reveal that Kylie has indeed officially begun working on new material, but it neither has a particular title, nor we believe will it include a duet with Olivier, who himself has commented on a number of occasions that he can't sing at all. He could, of course, be taking lessons!
Kylie is this week spending time in New York (pictured) - looking stunning and, we must say, about 21! - and was spotted attending a Scissor Sisters show a few nights ago. It is believed that the rest of her time there is connected with this new material, and future plans for recording; could she even be planning to record with Jake Shears and Babydaddy once again? ;-) As we reported some time ago, Kylie has spent time while undergoing her various therapies for breast cancer, songwriting and she is now keen to get into the studio. And while the News Of The World reported that the album will be 'about her struggle with cancer', it is actually much more likely the case that it was simply the inspiration and a catalyst to her songwriting, rather than dealing explicitly with her illness - only time will tell. Furthermore, if an entire album is to based heavily on Kylie's own songwriting, it will be the first time we have seen her throw herself so much into a recording project since Impossible Princess. Now there's an exciting propect! At this point, however, it is merely 'new material' with no firm plans of timescale or exact format as of yet.
Our previous news reporting Junior Vasquez "remixing a new Kylie track" was somewhat of a red herring. JV has indeed recently remixed a Kylie track, but we have discovered that it is actually an old track (we don't yet know which) which he was remixing for himself, as he was due to headline a gay festival of some sort, and needed a Kylie exclusive to 'wow' the crowd!! Undoubtedly we will get to hear this remix at some point, but it transpired not to be connected to the new material.
Meanwhile, back home in Australia, it has been revealed that Kylie is set to be the fifth and final Australian 'legend' of the entertainment industry to be immortalised in the form of a larger-than-life bronze statue. The statue will stand alongside likenesses of Graham Kennedy, John Farnham, Dame Nellie Melba and Dame Edna Everage, the first two of which will be unveiled this Saturday night at a gala event at Waterfront City at Docklands.
Variety chief executive officer Norm Hutton said Kylie's inspirational fight against breast cancer added to her appeal.
"It wasn't a direct consideration," he said. "But certainly as an inspiration to not only the youth of today in the way she has conducted herself professionally, but also the challenge of her situation, definitely makes her extra, extra special."
Elsewhere again, and this time to sister Dannii, who has revealed that her big sis was very nervous about 'unveiling' her funky new haircut to the world. Hard to believe, considering how stunning Kylie looks!
"It's a big step for her and she called me to ask for advice," Dannii told Closer magazine. "I told her to go for it. I mean there aren't many people who can look that great with such a nifty haircut."
Dannii went on to praise Kylie's boyfriend for all his support since Kylie's battle with breast cancer.
"Olivier has been a godsend to her. It's been a long year, but she's going from strength to strength. Kylie's back!"

Kylie Minogue told me she's back in the recording studio, working on a new album, for the first time since she was diagnosed with cancer. The 37-year-old singer said she was feeling "good" and taking "baby steps" back into work. She turned up at the opening of Elton John's Lestat musical with Lulu and Scott Hoffman of Scissor Sisters.
"I'm working with a few people, just kicking some ideas around. It's fun to be working again and sitting down and making music.
"I'm taking it slowly. You know, baby steps. We're taking one baby step at a time. It's early days and I'm not sure what shape things are going to take yet. Really, what we're doing is messing around in the studio with different people and seeing what comes up. I don't know yet what songs I'm going to sing, or how I'm going to sing them, or what they're going to be about.'
It is the first time the singer has properly returned to work after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May last year. After a partial mastectomy and months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, doctors pronounced her cancer free at the start of the year. Her hair, which had fallen out because of the chemotherapy, started growing back and earlier this month she unveiled a new elfin-style haircut. She cut a stylish figure at the opening, adorned with gems from Bulgari's new Parentesi collection.
Along with working on the new album, Kylie's also pencilled in some gigs for the end of the year in Australia and she's said to be in talks to headline at next summer's Glastonbury festival. She was meant to top the bill at last year's event, but was forced to pull out when she fell ill. |

Yup. memang dia ckp album Body Language (bkn aku:bgrin her last album sbb dia nak kawen. tp tuptup dpt brest cancer. Org ckp yg hubungan diorang mungkin akan clash sbb cancer ni. tp nasib baik Oliver tu series dgn dia. dia ckp dulu pas kawen dia maybe akan buat album yg lbh sesuai konsep dia sbg status isteri org spt album Jazz. |
