Why are muslims killing each other?

Over these few years i have been reading alot abt the fighting in middle east, and come to realise that muslims from different sects are kiling each other.

The Shia against the Sunni against the Alawite against the Wahabi against the Ahmadiyya .......... the list just goes on.

If a Malaysian walks in the wrong side of town , say, in Baghdad, he will be killed by the Shia. And his blood will be halal.

How will or can Islam ever have a united front?

9. killed more than 100 millions of Indians in north america (Non-Muslims)

10. killed more than 50 million of indians in south america (Non-Muslims)

11. took about 180 millions of African people as slaves and 88% of them died and was thrown in atlantic ocean (Non-Muslims)

12. killed 1 million civilians in Iraq alone in the name of Nucliar wepons (Non-Muslims)

13. Israel kills 10,000 Lebanese civilians due to 2 missing soldiers (Non-Muslims)

14. who kick out Palestinians and take their land (Non-Muslims)

15. killed 500,000 people in Kashmir, Raped their women (Non-Muslims)

16 Serbs kill 80,000 and rape Muslim women in Kosovo/Bosnia (Non-Muslims)

17. Russians kill 200,000 Chechens in bombings (Non-Muslims)

So first remove this double standard.. then come to the point!!!!

George W Bush started FIVE wars in less than eight years stating each time that it was his "God Given Duty” and in 2001 even called it a Crusade!

You still think that Islam is the problem?!

You missed my point.

You have named Wars that are between countries.

My take is about the violence that muslims cause to other muslims to the point of killing them.

Though there was a time when Christians killed other Christians due to calling each other heretics.

But muslims are different.

Sunni killing Shia and vice versa has been ongoing for a thousand yrs. And it is political .Once the spark is ignited a Sunni will kill is Shia neighbour, even though they have been civil to each other in time of peace.

Then there a Islamic splintered groups which are basically called heretics, and they are free game of any other larger muslim sect.

Isnt there any sura in the Quran that forbids killing a fellow muslim ?

But muslims are different.

Murders/killing in other religion itself are there over the years. You can simply refer to murder cases in USA, India, or other countries. May I know why the distinction has to be made for Islam?

Everytime a Muslim commit suicide, thinking he is defending his religion by killing non-Muslim, the Devil laughs out loud.

In that sense, Muslims are nothing more than tools for the Devil to entertain himself.

I find it strange that a muslim can kill another muslim because he believes HE HAS THE CORRECT INTERPRETATION OF THE QURAN.

Or that another muslim believes that Muhammad was not the last prophet.

Or Because you are either Shia or Sunni, and both have been at war since the death of Muhammad.

When are Muslims going to put down their weapons and TALK ? Or like most others accept a difference in belief.

If "CAN" is the choice of words, you must put forward your proof. The teachings must say so. If not, then it's just human's error.

I'm muslim from a Muslim country in Borneo. Like u, I also puzzled. Ever heard similar events in SEA countries? Maybe? In history, War of Siffin & Jamal. I got references why the wars. But, nevermind. Its ALL HUMAN factors, NOTHING to do WITH RELIGIONS.
