A native New Yorker, Catherine Oxenberg grew up in London where her first Shakespearean acting coach was Richard Burton. He was engaged to her mother, HRH Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. She returned to the United States to attend St. Paul's School where she graduated Summa cum Laude and was admitted to Harvard University. She transferred to Columbia University after deciding to pay her own way through college and start modeling. She was photographed for the covers of Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Los Angeles magazine and Interview.

Catherine Oxenberg acting career took off after landing her first audition as Princess Diana in CBS TV's "Royal Romance of Charles and Diana." The talent agency ICM immediately signed her, and she was soon personally cast by Aaron Spelling in his hit ABC TV series "Dynasty."

Oxenberg dated John Kerry in 1989 after his first marriage ended and before he married Teresa Heinz Kerry. Her first marriage was to the producer Robert Evans, in Beverly Hills, California on July 12, 1998, but the marriage was annulled nine days later.

On May 8, 1999 in Las Vegas, Oxenberg married actor Casper Van Dien after the two starred together in The Omega Code. In 2005 the couple appeared in their own reality series, I Married a Princess, which aired on the Lifetime Television channel in the United States and on LIVING tv in the United Kingdom.

Princess Claire: Surveyor Becomes a Princess

2003- Surrounded by European royalty, Belgium's Prince Laurent married English-born commoner Claire Coombs in an elaborate state ceremony Saturday. The wedding put an end to years of speculation in the Belgian press that the 39-year-old prince - known for his love of cars and laid-back style - would remain a bachelor forever. The prince was visibly nervous at a civil ceremony earlier in the day, offering 'I do' even before Brussels Mayor Freddy Thielemans finished saying the vows.

After the ceremony at the historic medieval town hall, the couple made their way to the Saint Michael and Gudula Cathedral, where Cardinal Godfried Danneels officiated. The bride, 29, wore a simple gown by Belgian designer Edouard Vermeulen and a Brussels lace veil first worn by Laurent's great-grandmother in 1877.

Laurent, the youngest son of King Albert and Queen Paola and eighth in line to the Belgian throne, and Coombs announced their engagement in December after months of speculation about the royal romance in the Belgian media.

Coombs holds dual British-Belgian nationality and works as a surveyor with a real estate company in the northern city of Antwerp. She has not said whether she will continue working now that she is a princess. Bilingual in French and English, Coombs has recently been perfecting her Dutch, which is spoken by 60 percent of Belgians.

Just my humble opinion.. gaya fesyen puteri2 bangsawan & keluarga diraja selalu mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan menakjubkan bagi aliran fesyen semasa卼rend fesyen dan gaya hidup yang ada kalanya menjadi ikutan..sepertimana Puteri Diana yg kekal melambangkan seorang trend setter dalam fesyen keluarga diraja Britain
