Lee Seung Gi will be returning with a giant dose of action.
The singer-turned-actor will be making a comeback to the small screen with the upcoming MBC drama Gu Family Book as the half-man-half-beast Choi Kang Chi.

Staff have stated that the actor has been sweeping through his action scenes armed with his fit figure and swift kicks.
As soon as he was cast for the drama, Lee Seung Gi put a stop to all other schedules and concentrated solely on fitting into his character. He attended an action school and practiced horseback riding as well.
The first action scene that put his skills to the test was held on March 15 in Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. He appeared on set with his characteristic smile, but soon became serious as he talked over his scenes with his supervisor and practiced with his fellow actors.
With the start of the shoot he flashed his punches and quick movements. Though the shoot went on for eight hours straight, he didn′t show any sign of tiring.
Lee Seung Gi commented at the shoot, "I prepared everything from the basics because there will be a lot of action scenes. This was my first action scene, and I don′t know how I got through it; I was so concentrated on my work. I′m looking forward to the action scenes up ahead, which I′ll be meeting with a famed martial arts director."
