Since 1992 sudah ada ura-ura sis tapi ramai penganjur peringkat daerah tidak mematuhi. Duirang buang rule no 2. Sebab itu peringkat daerah masih ada ramai UN muslim.However, final peringkat Negeri dikuatkuasakan sejak Pn Jornah jadi chairperson disambung oleh Pn Joanna. Mana-mana daerah yang dinemangi UN muslim akan hantar wakil no2 atau 3 (yg bukan muslim). Pengecualikan kalau UN tersebut ada surat kebenaran

On the issue of allowing Muslim Kadazandusun Murut (KDM) lasses to take part in the competition, Joanna said although the issue is not new, disallowing Muslims to participate is outlined in the competition’s rules and regulations to avoid any misunderstandings. “Some argue that it is a cultural competition (tiada beza dengan Miss Kebaya begitu) and should not be likened to other beauty pageants. But the rule to disallow Muslims is outlined because we do not want to raise any issues with the Islamic authoritative bodies. We don’t want things like having winners’ titles being revoked due to their religion and things like that.” However, said Joanna, nothing is yet set in stone when it comes to the issue and “we open the matter for discussion among committee members. Currently, Muslim ladies who want to join the competition need to get clarification from their district’s Islamic authoritative bodies and most importantly their parents.”

UN Kudat. Dengarnya dia final year student UNIMAS dan agak brainy , dari KML Labuan. Cuma harap dapat speaking bahasa ibunda dengan lancar lah. Lain-lain dah cukup.
