Hello all!!! Baru lepas tengok cerite ni. Not bad! Start2 dah sedih. Budak kecik yg jadi ARA tu memang terror berlakon. Real jek nangis sampai aku pun nak terikut nangis same. Filipinos nyer pelakon memang hebat lah! Thumbs up! |

This was a highly successful soap in the Philippines. It was shown from May 2003 to July 2004. Thats 14 months or about 300 episode. In Malaysia since you guys get to watch 15 episode a week compared to only 5 episode for us in the Philppines. This soap will only take 4 months and 3 weeks to 5 months to finish in Malaysia ( YOU LUCKY MALAYSIANS !!) This soap started out well But torwards its 4th month of showing The ratings drop significantly . ABS was considering ending it soon but gave the writers of the soap a chance to improve the story and thus they introduced new characters and paried Kristine with DIETHER. So in November 03 , Diether first appears with Tin Tin in ( EPISODE 122.) Diether , Kristine & Echo formed a love triangle. The new team up in the story of Diether and Kristine boosted SWNW ratings to soar and by January 2004 it was the #1 show in the country. From Febuary 2004 to July (when it ended ) it occupied #2 slot it the ratings (# 1 was Marina (mermaid starring Claudine barreto) averaging 40 %. ABS hoped that the entry of Diether would help generate more interest in the soap but they never expected that Diether and Tin tin's team up would generate such immense following in such a short time. It became the the pro Echo/TinTin fans versus the pro Diether/TinTin fans In the first of its kind , ABS launched a nationwide campaign asking viewer to text who they wanted to end up together Diether and Tin or echo and tin. ABS thus for the first time prepared 2 endings for a soap. One ended with Echo and Tin getting married. The other Diether and Tin getting married. The team up that wins the text vote will be the ending shown ABS got over 1 million text vote 54 % wanted Echo/TinTin and 46 % wanted Diether/Tin tin. So ABS aired the Echo Tin ending BUT also aired the Diether Tin ending the next day , because the difference in the text votes was not that much so ABS decided to air both endings. Also considering that the Echo Tin TIn loveteam has been in excistance for 4 years already , compared to only 9 months for the Diether/ Tin tin love team and yet got 46% of the text votes already , ABS knows they have a growing fan base and wants to keep their fans happy. IN FACT for the next soap of Tin Tin she will be paired with Diet and this time NO ECHO.
For those who watched both endings it was evident that Tin Tin preferred to end up with Diet rather than Echo. Days before the final week of the soap Tin Tin said so herself that IF in real life she faced the same situation that she faced in this soap , she would choose to marry Diet . It was obvious that Tin was more radiant & happy in the Tin and Diet wedding compared to the Echo Tin wedding . Her eyes and facial expression says it all. It also helped that while shooting this soap , Diet and Tin Tin fell in love in REAL LIFE. Echo has publicly said that he is happy for Tin Tin who was once his true to life girlfriend and he was also happy that Diet is Tin Tin's boyfriend coz Diet is his friend and he knows Diet is a nice guy .
