Synopsis for Episode 1 & 2
Tao Ai Qing was happy that at last she saved enough for her trip to Paris while Aaron Lu was in Paris to receive the coveted Laurel Award for Fashion Design. In Paris Aaron Lu met an old granny who advised him that he was destined to meet his soul mate here and the coin which he gave him would bring him to his soul mate. Not believing what the granny had said, Aaron Lu threw away the coin which dropped to the ground in front of Tao Ai Qing. Ai Qing picked up the coin. A twist of fate, both Aaron Lu and Ai Qing passed by each other. Experiencing some kind of a strange feeling, Aaron Lu turned around and looked puzzlingly at Ai Qing抯 back.
Katrina, a well known model, was Aaron Lu抯 girlfriend. After winning the coveted Laurel Award which Aaron Lu presented to Katrina, Aaron proposed to Katrina. Instead of wanting a diamond ring, Katrina requested Aaron to buy the wooden horse that she liked. At the souvenir shop, Aaron met Ai Qing and they both fought for the purchase of the wooden horse. Though Aaron was willing to pay a high price for the wooden horse, the shop owner refused to sell to him. Later that evening Ai Qing came back to the shop and left behind a self-made key chain as replacement for the wooden horse which she took. Aaron saw that and informed the shop owner but the shop owner just ignored Aaron. When Aaron came out from the shop, he had lost sight of Ai Qing.
At the airport, Aaron Lu spotted Ai Qing, managed to catch up with her and asked her for the wooden horse which Ai Qing lied that she had lost the wooden horse.
Back in Taiwan and waking up in the familiar surrounding of her bedroom, Ai Qing抯 thoughts were disrupted by her grandfather asking her to get ready for her class with the children at the farmstead.
On the other hand, Cheng Hai Nuo was in a motorbike race when he lost control of his bike which rammed into the fences at the farmstead moving towards where Ai Qing was having her class with the children. The sudden loud pang of noise frightened the children and the horses at the farmstead who ran scatteringly away from being hit by Cheng Hai Nuo抯 bike. Cheng Hai Huo抯 bike hit a rock with Cheng Hai Nuo letting go of the bike and landed on the ground. Tao Ai Qing asked her grandfather to take care of Cheng Hai Nuo while she pacified the frightened children.
In the midst of the turmoil, three strangers appeared at the farmstead requesting to see the owner of the farmstead. They were representing Globe Corporation to serve notice to Ai Qing抯 grandfather to move out as their boss had bought over the farmstead.
While on her way to Globe Corporation抯 office, Ai Qing was nearly knocked by Aaron Lu抯 car when she fell from her bike which hit a stone. Upon seeing each other, they bickered again. Ai Qing threw the money at Aaron Lu抯 face. Aaron Lu sped off with his car with Ai Qing cursing after him. After driving a short distance, Aaron Lu抯 car met with a punctured tyre. Ai Qing passed by Aaron Lu, ridiculing him.
Outside Globe Corporation抯 office, Ai Qing met her close friend Ah Qi who was a reporter. Ai Qing wanted to barge into Globe Corporation抯 office to look for Aaron Lu to discuss on the farmstead matter, but Ah Qi dissuaded her and suggested Ai Qing coming back the next day when Aaron Lu would be holding his first fashion show.
On the other hand, Cheng Hai Nuo was competing in a motorbike race and won the 1st spot. While receiving his winner trophy, Hai Nuo spotted Ai Qing, shouted a nickname [?????] [golden haired ranch girl] at Ai Qing and declared Ai Qing as his girlfriend.
Ai Qing ignored Hai Nuo抯 remarks and went about selling her lavender-flavoured ice-creams.
That night Ai Qing went to look for her brother, scolding him for selling the farmstead quietly and leaving her & grandfather 慼omeless |
