Gambar-gambar kejadian perang Yom-Kippur.

Here's the brief history about it:

"The Yom Kippur War, Ramadan War or October War (Hebrew: מלחמת יום הכיפורים‎; transliterated: Milkhemet Yom HaKipurim or מלחמת יום כיפור, Milkhemet Yom Kipur; Arabic: حرب أكتوبر‎; transliterated: ħarb October or حرب تشرين, ħarb Tishrin), also known as the 1973 Arab-Israeli War and the Fourth Arab-Israeli War, was fought from October 6 to October 26, 1973, between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria. The war began with a surprise joint attack by Egypt and Syria on the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur. Egypt and Syria crossed the cease-fire lines in the Sinai and Golan Heights, respectively, which had been captured by Israel in 1967 during the Six-Day War."[size]

That's some pretty nice pictures. I also like the way you post them without bias to either side.

Not anymore. Even M60 remained only in reserve. There are currenly 3 active brigades in IDF (each about 100 tanks)

7th - Merkava 2.
188th - Merkava 3.
401th - Merkava 4.

In addition there are some 1000 Merkavas and 1000 M60 in reserve (equipped with aditional armour or Blazer ERA).

I recall rumours that Singapore's Tempest aka Centurion MBTs (soon to be replaced by Leopard 2s) were upgraded by Israel and have roughly the same standards as the Sho't.

I dont know about it. I can tell that Singapores some tankers passed trainings in Israel. I saw them myself in 1999. Centurion is a nice tank, better than M60.

Israel may boast to have survived this war but i dun think they wanna go through it again coz it seems the Arabs also gave them some really bad times.

Yom Kippur War is an important case study when studying military warfare. Singapore have learned valuable lessons from the Yom Kippur War. We have military units on standby during public holidays as the result from the experience gained.

Balas #20 tankee1981\ catat

u should also close ur borders coz during holiday most of u Singaporeans flood Malaysia ..who knows what we'll do to holidaying Singaporeans...and oh..might I suggest building a tall security wall along ur border overlooking Johor too or around ur Malay/Muslim community.....why not..the zionists do all the wonderful thinking for u

Yum Kippur war also show that no one is invincible even your Zionist lords...and that even the Arabs(or us) could come up with a new trick or two.. ...the Hezbollah has demonstrated that they could still inflict a would on mighty modern israel...decades after the yom kippur war....l
