Synopsis:
The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Hisaya Nakajo, which has already been dramatized in Taiwan. Maki Horikita plays the protagonist Mizuki Ashiya, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Izumi Sano (Shun Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol.
Johnny's Jr's Toma Ikuta plays the part of Shuichi Nakatsu, a classmate and friend of Mizuki and Izumi.
Iconic pop star Seiko Matsuda has been added to the cast of this drama series. She will make special appearances as the mysterious principal of the school where the story takes place.
This is Matsuda's first role in a television drama in two years.

Maki Horikita (堀北真希, Horikita Maki?, born October 6, 1988, in Kiyose, Tokyo) is a Japanese actress and advertising model.
Maki Horikita started her acting career in 2003 as a U-15 idol and has since starred in a number of Japanese television dramas, TV and magazine ads, and films. Shun Oguri (小栗 旬, Oguri Shun?, born December 26, 1982 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese actor, having most recently starred in the hit TV drama, Hana Yori Dango, and its sequel.
Biography
Early Life
Raised in a family of five, including himself, his parents and two older siblings, one brother and one sister, making Shun the youngest in his family.
Shun made his way into the acting industry not because he was pursuing a passion of his, but because he was an avid admirer of Uchida Yuuki, a Japanese actress. He loved her acting and was a very big fan of her's, and because he wanted to meet her, he joined theater and acting classes. He admits he didn't really like theater or the acting classes, but somehow, his ambition to meet his idol kept on driving him. Now, Shun says acting is his life and wouldn't want it any other way.
Career
His first debut role was as the bullied and abused child from the drama Great Teacher Onizuka in 1998, when he was about sixteen years old. His acting attracted him great attention and from there, he moved onto bigger roles. His breakthrough role is arguably Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango, though his first lead role in a drama was as the famous Detective Conan from the classic manga series of the same name. Shun has more than enough talent for lead roles, but he has stated that he actually prefers playing the supporting roles. Besides acting, he is also a DJ. He is hosting a radio show called All Night Nippon. Impressive actor with a wide range of roles. From a deaf guy in Summer Snow to a cool guy in Gokusen and to a desperate virgin in Stand Up!!, Hana Yori Dango as cool Hanazawa Rui, Gokusen as gangsta-wannabe Uchi.

Toma Ikuta (生田斗真, Ikuta Toma?, born October 7, 1984 in Hokkaido) is a Japanese talent artist part of Johnny's Jr. from Johnny's Entertainment Inc.
His family members consist of a father, a mother name Hiromi, a younger brother name Ryusei, and a dog name JAM-chan. His father wanted to name him Ikuta Tamegorou, but his mother changed it to Toma because it was easier to call. He used to be called Toma, Touma, or Toma-chan by his family and friends. Maki Horikita is pictured after it was announced she will play the role of a girl dressed up as a boy in the drama "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e: Ikemen Paradise."
Second in the ranking of most popular Japanese-language entertainment stories during the week between May 18 and 24, was an article on Maki Horikita, who has been picked to appear in the Fuji TV drama "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e: Ikemen Paradise."
Horikita plays the part of a girl who dresses up as a boy to enter a school filled with good-looking guys. To look the part, she will have her hair cropped short, and will wear a bulky vest to hide her bust.
The 18-year-old actress reportedly plans to keep her hair short until the filming is over.
"It's a drama with a unique setting," so I'm looking forward to it," she said.
