aritu aku baru tengok thundercats, kat tv3... best gak walaupon citer tuh 20 tahun dah.. betul2 ngam ngan proton laa... sama mcm proton jugak usianya. |

Proton Waja Kini Dipacu Enjin Campro
SHAH ALAM, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- National car manufacturer Proton on Friday launched the new generation of its popular-selling Proton Waja powered by the 1.6-litre multi-point fuel injection Campro engine.
"The introduction of the Waja Campro is very timely for Proton customers, especially for those celebrating the Chinese New Year. We hope this Lunar New Year will be a start to new beginnings for our customers together with Proton," said Proton Edar Sdn Bhd's chief executive officer Datuk Maruan Mohd Said.
He added that the new car offered customers a choice of greater performance and better fuel economy, complementing the existing model in the market.
The Waja Campro comes with changes in the interior feature in form of all-round leather seats, redesigned circular shaped air-conditioning vents, a new meter cluster and a double-din CD and MP3 player that replace the radio cassette player in the existing model.
The Malaysian designed, engineered and built Campro engine was first introduced in the GEN.2 car models in 2004.
Tweaked for a more linear torque progression for better acceleration, it is a high revving engine capable of achieving higher top speed as the engine is driven at higher rpm.
On average, the Waja Campro has a very high specific output at 70bhp per litre, capable of matching engines in its class that currently employ variable valve timing mechanisms, Proton said.
It added that the Waja Campro delivers a maximum power of 82kW (110bhp) at 6,000rpm and maximum torque of 1148Nm at 4,000rpm, with a 0-100km/h time of 10.8 nd 13.5 seconds for both the manual and automatic version respectively.
Available in both manual and automatic transmissions, the Waja Campro is priced at RM59,888.20 for the manual and RM63,888.76 for the automatic with full accessories.
First launched in 2000, the 1.6-litre Waja has sold close to 230,000 units on the road to-date.
It was named as the most economical and greenest four-door, five-passenger sedan on the Australian market by the Australian Government's Greenhouse Office in 2004.

New proton waja Campro
Proton抯 new Proton Waja powered by it抯 S4PH Campro engine was launched yesterday. Among the enhancements over the Mitsubishi-powered Waja besides the engine are all-round leather seats, a new meter cluster, redesigned air-cond vents and a new double-DIN CD player with MP3 support.
The manual Waja Campro retails for RM59,888.20 while the automatic Waja Campro retails for RM63,888.76. The Mitsubishi-powered Waja automatic retails for RM63,588.
Both the Mitsubishi-powered Waja and the new Waja Campro will be offered for the moment but Proton hopes to gradually phase out the 4G18 Waja with the new Campro Waja....
Nie lak comparisons Campro dan Waja engine 4G18 mistsubishi..kalau tengok torque curve dia, waja campro nie pick up sure lembab banding gan engine sekrang, cuma bila sampai high RPM, baru pecetuan dia dirasai, macam GEN2 skeranglag...so waja campro mungkin bagus utk highway driving tapi city driving mungkung kurang sket..terpaksa rev tinggi2 engine utk pick-up bagus...unless proton engineer modified lagi engine Campro Waja utk improve low -end torque utk better pickup..
