yang aku dgar kat radio, ramai kaum ibu yang suka.. kerena mereka dapat memberikan kasih sayang sepenuhnya kepada anak2 kecil mereka dari mula kelahiran ke usia 5 tahun.. takkan nak suruh BiBi jage... kang anak tue lebih sayang kat orang gaji

Pengalaman aku...wanita kalau dibiarkan bercuti , tak payah lima tahun ,dua tahun pun cukup. Lepas tu diorang tak nak keja dah..nikmat jaga anak tu lagi berharga dari pendapatan dari bekerja.Dengan syarat mereka mempunyai suami ynag bertanggungjawab...

Namun begitu, apa yang dipersetujui oleh Kerajaan ini merupakan satu alternatif terbaik buat semua wanita.
Gunakan manfaat ini sebaik-baiknya.......

the same goes with paying all government employees RM5 million/month. it may immidiately sound good for every government employees. but is it good for the government? when it's bad for the government, will it end up being good for everybody later?

of course it could make the task of taking care of children easier for women employees if they are given this 5-year-off option. but it's not just about the women. we have to think about the government agencies as well. that's why I don't think this is such a good idea.

well i think it depends on the dept and the situation arise --
clearly 5 years off is quite long for the women - but as well -
that can help some people cuz they need to hire other employee
to replace her ---  so a bit help for unemployment there --

5 years 10 years  - whatever -- not the point -   point is
did this woman need to take those years off?? some might vouch
not to...   and they have the option -- which is good cuz
the situation not the same among them --

The government's plan to allow mothers five years off to give their full attention to the child in that crucial first year will need further refining if it is not to be a Catch-22 offer.

SHORTLY after a meeting the other day, I received a message detailing, if I remember correctly, at least half a dozen unanswered calls on my part. The calls were all from my wife.

I had switched off the phone so as not to disturb the proceedings of the meeting, which was the reason (and seemed like a good one too) that she couldn抰 get through to me.  

But, later, I realised that maybe I should have simply put it on silent mode.

Within less than a minute of switching the phone back on and receiving the SMS of missed calls, my wife was on the line with me. There was this pressing matter that required urgent clarification, and this was made clear to me in no uncertain terms.

After the usual exchange of pleasantries (along the lines of, 揌ow come your phone so hard to get?
