Haruma Miura to Star in the Movie "Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You"
Haruma Miura (三浦春馬) will costar with Mikako Tabe (多部未華子) in the movie adapted from the popular girls' comic "Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You (君に届け, lit. Reaching you)".
The story is about how life changes of a high school girl Sawako Kuronuma (黒沼爽子), called Sadako(貞子) by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from The Ring, after getting in touch with the popular boy Shot Kazehaya (早風翔太). "My heart fluttered after reading the original work, and I want to express the pure honesty of Sawako." said Tabe, and Miura commented: "It's my honor to be chosen to play the role in this popular work. I want to create a great work with everyone's power." The movie is directed by Naoto Kumazawa (熊澤尚人) and will premiere on September 25.

Junon: This drama is only becoming more and more interesting as it progresses to its final episode, but have you two seen the first episode, which was a two-hour special?
Takeru: Yes, we did. Before it aired we got to see it on DVD and we watched it over at Haruma’s place (laughs).
Haruma: We both watched it while saying things like “Oh no! Oh no!” And after seeing the whole thing we were both like, “YES!” (laughs)
First teaser out for "Kimi ni Todoke" live action film!!! (and news video clips)
The official website for Naoto Kumazawa‘s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Kimi ni Todoke” has been updated with a new teaser trailer.
Based on a manga by Karuho Shiina which was later turned into an animated television series, the film stars Mikako Tabe as a high school student named Sawako Kuronuma. Because of her long dark hair and generally gloomy appearance, she’s commonly referred to as “Sadako” by other students—a reference to the character from Hideo Nakata’s 1998 horror film “Ring”.
However, her life begins to change one day when a popular classmate named Shota Kazehaya (Haruma Miura) begins talking to her. His gesture of friendship gives her the confidence to be more outgoing and try things she never would have tried before. Eventually, her gratitude toward him leads to a budding romance.
Toho will be releasing “Kimi ni Todoke” in Japan on September 25, 2010.

Long teaser for "KIMI NI TODOKE" live action film starring Miura Haruma and Tabe Mikako
Previously a 33-second teaser was released for the live-action "Kimi ni Todoke" film adaptation. A new preview came out recently and it features clips of a few more scenes from the movie which is due in theaters on September 25th 2010. The movie will star Mimura Haruma and Tabe Mikako.
