~ JYP's WONDER GIRLS ~

The Wonder Girls (원더걸스 ) is a South Korean girl group produced by singer-songwriter Park Jin Young and are signed to his talent agency, JYP Entertainment.Each of the five original members were selected through auditions.Debuting in early 2007 with the song "Irony", they became more popular in fall of that year with the song "Tell Me" . In the late May 2008 , they created another "Tell Me"wave with their hit single, "So Hot". Another song was released at September 2008 with the title; "Nobody". The song's addictive beat & cute "Love Bullet" dance made the song another hit not only in Korea but also around the world. English version of "Nobody" will be released soon.

Since then they have scored 3 consecutive #1 hit singles with "Tell Me", "So Hot", and "Nobody", and in 2008, won two Daesangs ("Artist of the Year" Awards).

The group began their entry into the American market in 2009, with lead single "Nobody"; the single became the first song by a Korean group to enter the Billboard
Hot 100. They are co-managed in the United States by JYP Entertainment and Jonas Group.

On January 22, 2010, it was announced that Sunmi would be postponing her musical career to pursue an academic career; Hye-rim (Lim), a JYP trainee, will take her place.
