25-year-old charged for church attack hoax on Facebook

PETALING JAYA, Jan 15 - A 25 year-old student was charged at the Sessions Court here today with threatening public safety in relation to a comment he posted on Facebook about the recent spate of attacks on churches.

Mohamad Tasyrif Tajudin was charged under Section 233 (1) (a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act for an alleged attempt to threaten public safety following a comment he left on Facebook.

The student had written “kenapa? nak aku baling bom petrol pulak kat sana? ... harga boleh runding (why? You want me to throw a petrol bomb there? We can negotiate the price), in reply to others who were discussing the ongoing “Allah” controversy on the popular social networking website.

The prosecution set bail at RM10,000 but Mohamad, who had no legal counsel, could not post bail. He will be detained until Monday when the mention date for his trial will take place.

Adik ni mungkin melawak atau bergurau dengan kekawan Facebooknya.

Tapi dia lak didakwa di mahkamah. Mana dia orang yang polis dok kata dah kenal pasti orang yang bakar dan buat khianat kepada gereja.? mana dia? Mnagapa tak caj?

Kesian jugak kat budak ni.

Yg peliknya tak kan polis dpt budak ni jer.. mananya yg dikatakan hisapmuddin 'identiti sudah dikenalpasti' tu. Tak kan dpt kenalpasti tapi ambik masa berzaman nak dakwa.

Nampak sgt lah tak mau ambik tindakan. Gambar kat internet pun dah bersepah, tapi Otosan Meloya langsung tak siar gambar suspek utama tu. Nampak sangat cuba nak sembunyikan identiti org tu. Pastu siap klaim tak kenal org tu. Kalau tak kenal tak kan UMGNOK boleh senang2 bagi microphone suruh org tu cakap 'bakar gereja'.

Last2 budak ni jugak dikambing hitamkan..

Walaupun budak2 tsebut mengeluarkan statement jenis x hingat...tp aku tetap kasihan kat budak tu..biasala darah muda..apa yg buleh kita harapan...x kan gomen nk serius kat budak2 tu..

Adalah lebih baik bg Kerajaan kalau bg lecture kat mana2 media dan pemimpin NGO yg tnyata lebih mgeluarkan komen2 lebih menghasut drpd budak tsebut...
