Kancils and Vivas are timebombs

I think whenever we read about automobile accidents in the papers, the victims are more often than not killed in the local cars that they were in. I am concerned about the safety afforded by the smaller local cars to their passengers, especially the Kancils and Vivas. I am sure most of you have heard of many stories of how passengers in the said cars were killed while those in foreign cars suffered minor injuries, whenever accidents involving both types were reported.

Kancil and Vivas being small cars by concept do not equate to lower protection for their passengers. This is just an engineering issue. I am questioning the integrity of the local car manufacturers in this respect.

   Betul3... Masalahnya, pemandu/pemilik keta2 tecik ni kebanyakannya beginner (baru berjinak2 memandu) dan muda2, jenis yg tak tau LIMIT keta2 kecik nih...

tapi local car ni... we need to pay more for basic safety features. kalo tak silap US & UK dah implement dual airbag tu perkara wajib...

kat sini...  highline br dpt dual airbag... itu pon tgk jenis... basic spec driver airbag pon tarak...

selalu nmpk kat highway yg keta2 kecik ni lah suka potong2 n drive laju melebihi keta besar..kita yg duk blkg pun gerun tgk sbb dh lah laju pstu bw keta kecik nmpk sgt mcm nk melayang...

the same thing goes same with the compact import car.

their still dont have security part such as air bag, abs and ebd.

but the viva high line have abs, ebd and airbag if i am not mistaken.

so the issue is not the local car or not, but the RM u willing to spent for buy a car

true..aku nak kongsi pengalaman aku dikejar oleh Viva sebab tak puas hati dipotong oleh Gen2 dalam kelajuan 160km/j..masih 'memaksa' Viva tu push sampai limit..aku tak dapat bayangkan kalau tiba-tiba ada lori overtake secara tiba-tiba dari line tengah ke line kanan..confirm Viva tu sangkut bawah lori..tapi Viva tu surrender setelah 'gagal' mengejar Gen2 yang berkeupayaan 1600cc..Aku cuma bagi 'bye-bye signal' kat driver dia...Viva hitam plet BKLXXXX...

nak kereta murah tunggu duit kita lagi tinggi dari USD,  Dolar atau Yen. Waktu tu 1 org 5 buah kereta pun tak kisah.

Viva tu memang berani..tak puas hati dia cilok lane tengah lepas tu lane kiri dan masuk balik lane kanan semata-mata nak potong kereta aku..jalan straight jer aku pun potong la balik Viva tu hehehe..

itu la psl.
aku pun bnyk kali kena tetiba kereta kancil/viva melintas depan aku jenis potong kiri punya.
cilakoi tul, tau la kecik bleh menyelit2....
mcm itu punya org mati lg bagus.

p/s: kereta tu x salah.tp org yg bawak kete tu yg salah.
