Love On Top debuts at #20 on Billboard Hot 100; claims 20th Top 20 Hit
The VMAs also reveal their influence in the form of Hot 100 debuts, including Beyonce, whose "Love on Top" begins at No. 20 (and No. 10 on Digital Songs with sales of 113,000, marking the first Digital Songs top 10 from her album "4"). Beyonce performed the song on the VMAs (and then unsnapped her jacket and rubbed her belly, a move that served to announce her pregnancy).
The No. 20 Hot 100 launch of "Love" is Beyonce's second-highest among her 29 solo career entries; only "Ring the Alarm" began at a higher rung (No. 12, 2006).
News of pop singer Beyonce's pregnancy set a new Guinness World Records™ record for most Tweets per second at the weekend.
The star announced that she was expecting her first child with rapper husband Jay-Z before a live performance at the MTV VMA Awards on Sunday.
The 29-year-old rubbed her five-month baby bump, before declaring: "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me."
According to Twitter's official global PR feed, @TwitterComms, the news created a bump in traffic that saw 8,868 Tweets being sent per second.
The previous top five spikes in Twitter posts are as follows:
• 7,196 tweets were sent per second during the Women's World Cup final between Japan and the United States in July.
• 7,166 tweets per second were sent when Brazil lost to Paraguay in the Copa America.• 6,939 tweets per second when Tokyo rang in the New Year.
• 5,530 tweets per second were sent after the March 11th earthquake that rocked Japan.
• More than 5,000 tweets per second were sent after Osama Bin Laden's death.

AP: How is this fragrance different from your others?
Beyonce: This is very fresh. This is all about citrus, but it also has vanilla in the back. It is important for me for a fragrance not to just smell like one thing. I think women are interesting and I don’t like for you to be like, “Ok, this smells like this.” I like for it to be something signature and something that brings out your inner beauty and your confidence and makes you feel like you leave a long-lasting impression on someone.

Beyoncé to record A Star Is Born soundtrack next month
The project is slated to start next year, and Beyonce spilled the news that her pregnancy won't be pushing back the production schedule, adding that the team is still working on casting a male lead and writing the script. Leading lady Beyonce, meanwhile, is gearing up to start working on the film's tunes. "There is a lot of music in it, so it is actually great timing. I am actually about to start recording the soundtrack next month."
AP: You have the fragrance, the clothing line, a husband, career and a baby on the way. What is next on your bucket list?
Beyonce: Balance. I am still working on balance and still growing. I am starting my company, my label. I want to create a boy band. I want to continue to produce and do documentaries and music videos. I eventually want to start directing for other artists. Once I know that I have my stuff together and I trust that, I can do it for other artists. I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development. I see myself doing the same thing and hopefully other younger artists when they grow up and they have been around for 15, 20 years, they can do the same thing.
