actors Kim Seung Woo, Cha Tae Hyun, Ju Won and singer Sung Si Kyung will be joining the second season of KBS2’s 1 Night, 2 Days.
1 Night, 2 Days 2 will air its first episode on March 4 with seven members, including the new members and the original members Lee Su Geun, Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Jong Min.
Producer Choi Jae Hyung of Invincible Saturday and Fly Shoot Dori will be taking up the role of director for the show. Producer Na Young Seok of the first season, in the meantime, will be studying abroad for a brief while.
PD Choi revealed, “Kim Seung Woo, as the oldest member of the team, won’t be avoiding anything hard coming his way, and will play the role of center and bridge to make a great broadcast with the other members.
PD Choi added, “Sung Si Kyung is preparing for the show by working out to build up his strength and monitoring previous broadcasts of 1 Night, 2 Days in order to adapt to the program quickly. For Ju Won, this is his first fixed role in a variety program, and he’s preparing to play the part of the youngest member of the team in the variety he’s never experienced.”
The title of the program will continue to be 1 Night, 2 Days, and the first filming site and concept will not be revealed beforehand. The first filming for the show will take place from February 24-25.
The second season will mostly be taking on the original 1 Night, 2 Days. It will continue with its yearly projects including viewer tours and celebrity specials, but it will also be adding more new projects such as the exploration project, which will set out to introduce animals close to extinction, and global projects, which will spread Korea throughout the world.
The Antarctica project, of which talk has been cropping up ever since the first season, will also be going underway after the program settles down.

Now that the first season of ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ has finished filming its final episode, Eun Ji Won is enjoying a much needed break. Besides his fixed appearances on MBC’s ‘Come to Play’and KBS’s ‘Escaping Crisis Number One”, the star is saying no to new shows, instead, enjoying his time off.
Don’t worry, Eun Ji Won will still be busy even without the grueling schedule of 1N2D. The rapper and his agency will be producing Jang Hee Young‘s solo debut album. Once he finishes that project, he hopes to return to working on his new album with Clover.
But for now, the man rests…he deserves it.
