Months after the first uprisings against the regime of President al-Assad, the fighting and killing still goes on in Syrian towns and cities. And the West stands by and let’s it happen. Wehereas we fully supported the rebels in Libya with arms and even air support we stand by on the side lines when it comes to Syria. I’m sure there is a good political reason, but a human life is a human life. No? Only last week China and Russia used their veto, again, to block a UN resolution calling on President al-Assad to step down or face sanctions or worse. The Western countries were outraged, but that’s just hypocritical as the US does exactly the same any time a UN resolution is put forward with regards to the Isreali occupation of the Palestinian territories and it’s building of settlements on that land.
In short, our politicians are saying the Syrian people should not rely on any of us as we’ll only act if it is in our own interest. Good luck and stay strong, we hope reporting on your plight might help in some way.

Wallahul musta’an.

dah tau dah rentetan citer pasni.. pasni amerika akan sibuk2 melobi bahwa Syria ni maha jahat.. pastu akan senyap2 menyokong gerakan ni dgn senjata (itupun kalau diorang sendiri x turun padang serang syria) pastu Presiden bashar akan disembelih..

aku rasa ni semua propa supaya tentera Nato/Amerika/isreal xyah berperang dgn dua belah pihak bila diorang menyerang Iran nanti..

Man Buried Alive by Syrian Army
THE blindfolded man groans and struggles for breath as the men in uniform shovel dirt over his head: he is already buried up to his neck, and his prayers are quickly silenced as the grave closes over his head.
It is one of the most shocking videos yet to emerge from the horrors of Syria, though last night human rights groups and opposition activists could not vouch for its authenticity.

The short video first flickered up on an opposition website in southern Syria before being removed. It later appeared on YouTube, purporting to show a man from the area of Al-Qusayr, a town near Homs, being buried alive. His alleged crime was to film Syrian security forces and send the footage to Arabic news channels.

It shows armed men in military fatigues, and one in a blue tracksuit and gold watch, talking as they approach a shallow hole, from which the blindfolded head of a man protrudes, his body buried up to the neck. None of the men's faces is visible.
The voice of one of the men reports to a commander: "Sir, we dug [a hole] and buried him to the head." Another voice says: "This is the animal", while a third reports that he was caught with an ID badge and a camera. The "officer" in charge, who seems to be the man in the tracksuit, accuses the victim of filming security forces.

The victim starts wailing a Muslim prayer. The "officer" tells him to amend the wording. "Say 'no god but Bashar'," meaning Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian President, accused of killing more than 9,000 of his own people in an effort to crush dissent. The "officer" ends up saying "Bury this animal", as the man is silenced by dirt being shovelled over his head.

Text accompanying the video says it was filmed on April 25 and leaked by the Syrian Army. Amnesty International said it was looking into the footage. Avaaz, the activist network that has trained cameramen and citizen reporters inside Syria, said it, too, was examining the film. A media website studying the footage said that the gunmen appeared to have Alawite accents, the sect that rules the country.

There is no doubt that the violence perpetrated by the regime still goes on, despite a UN-backed ceasefire. In Hama, western Syria, at least 16 people were killed when a huge explosion brought down a large building on Wednesday. As many as 30 opposition members were reported killed this week in the city by regime forces after a visit by UN observers.

The regime said the blast was caused when a bomb-making laboratory exploded, although opposition activists said that the building had been hit by a rocket, possibly from a warplane. The opposition said at least 70 people died in the explosion.
