Pengendali berusia 60 tahun itu yang dipecat selepas kegagalan memalukan Perancis pada Piala Dunia 2010 mendakwa, Perancis akan mudah menewaskan England pada aksi sulung kumpulan, 11 Jun ini.

Everton defender Phil Jagielka is named by Roy Hodgson as the replacement for the Manchester City midfielder after a scan revealed the true extent of his stomach injury.
England midfielder Gareth Barry has been ruled out of Euro 2012 with a lower abdomen muscle tear.
Concerns were raised when the 31-year-old Manchester City player managed less than 30 minutes in the friendly against Norway on Saturday, and it has now been confirmed that he will miss the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
Barry, who won his 53rd international cap as a half-time substitute during the 1-0 victory in Oslo, will be replaced in England's 23-man squad by Everton defender Phil Jagielka.
"I¡¯m very disappointed to lose Gareth," said manager Roy Hodgson said in a statement on the Football Association's official website.
"Not only was he a member of my original 23-man squad but he has featured prominently in the England team over the last few years.
"I know how much he wanted to be part of the tournament but I¡¯m sure he will still have a part to play with England after the Euros. I wish him a speedy recovery.¡±
Frank Lampard has been ruled out of England's Euro 2012 campaign.
The Chelsea midfielder suffered a thigh injury in training yesterday [Wednesday] and went for a scan this afternoon [Thursday] to discover the extent of the damage.
However, Lampard and manager Roy Hodgson were preparing for the worst and the Football Association have now confirmed the player, who will be 34 next month, will not be part of England's 23-man squad.
It is devastating news for England, who have already had to deal with the loss of one midfielder, Manchester City's Gareth Barry who suffered a stomach injury in Saturday's friendly win over Norway.
And for Lampard, it potentially spells the end of his entire England career, with Hodgson expected to offer the younger midfielders a chance to prove themselves during next autumn's World Cup qualifying programme.
Jordan Henderson will be called into the England squad providing Hodgson gets the green light from UEFA, which should be automatic as Lampard has suffered a fresh injury after Tuesday's deadline.
What makes this latest twist even more galling is that Lampard was only in his second day of training, having joined the Three Lions party late after winning the Champions League with his club, in Munich, on May 19.
Hodgson said: "It's a huge blow for the team, especially coming after the loss of another senior player in Gareth Barry.
"The fact that the doctor cannot guarantee Frank could take part in any of the group matches means we have to replace him in the central midfield area.
"Apart from it being a huge blow to me and the team, I'm especially disappointed for Frank himself.
"He has been in very good form and was looking forward to the tournament.
"He made a huge contribution towards us qualifying for the Euros so it is cruel to be forced out through injury just before the tournament."

England defender Gary Cahill has been ruled out of Euro 2012 with a fractured jaw, the Football Association has confirmed.
Both the 26-year-old and Chelsea team-mate John Terry suffered injuries during the Three Lions' 1-0 victory over Belgium on Saturday, but the latter has been given the all-clear after a scan on Sunday revealed a hamstring strain was not as serious as first feared.
Liverpool full-back Martin Kelly has been called up as Cahill's replacement, although that has still to be cleared by Uefa's medical team.
An FA statement read: "Gary Cahill has been withdrawn from England¡¯s Euro 2012 squad following the injury he suffered in the match against Belgium. The Chelsea defender has two fractures of his jaw, one either side. The England medical team have been in close contact overnight with Cahill¡¯s club doctors who will treat him moving forward.
"Liverpool defender Martin Kelly will be called into the squad ¨C subject to agreement from Uefa¡¯s medical team. Kelly trained with the England players last week and was part of the group that travelled to Norway.
"John Terry has been scanned this morning and given the all clear. He will be re-assessed on Tuesday when the team regroup."
Cahill was injured in the first half of England's last friendly before Euro 2012 when he was deliberately pushed into Hart by Belgium midfielder Dries Mertens.
This latest withdrawl adds to a disastrous week for manager Roy Hodgson, who has already lost the services of both Gareth Barry and Frank Lampard. Kelly's inclusion would make him the sixth Liverpool player to be included in England's squad.
