Well... well... well... what do we get here...? Market that looked like going to rebounced was short of buying interest and lost steam - price wise and volume wise....

We are pretty much in a sideway market. I'm staying at the sideline for the moment....

CI closed at +2.53 points. Contrary to CI, NI closed lower. That's not so good. The higher Open, High & Low cannot confirm a bull trend in the making due to lower Close on the NI. I'll still stay at the sideline.....

While all prices increased compared to the prior day, Volume doesn't. Market seems have not react to the bullish sentiment in force.

My play for tommorow is to monitor closely my 12 selected counters during the final hour (> 4pm) that their prices are well supported, and their volume increased on the buyer side. Only then Buy will be in place.

At this point, the market seems to be positioned well, so tomorrow, narrow down to counters level...

Indeed, maybe due to the upgrade in the S&P rating on the currency.  Could be Finance play next...

Anyway, already started buying, there were a few potential good buy, waited until 5 minutes before closing and narrowed down to those closing near the day's high....

Yup, I entered the market yesterday, and by the time I put the EOD in the spreadsheet, the bulls is there.

A young bull is a young bull. Still shaky, and always depends on its mother for milk and protection. If its mother's gone, the young bull will die.

Enter with care. Always know your stoploss and target sell before or right after you put that buy order. Happy swinging!!

Was that a breather last Friday? Or was it a start of a bear trend....? It's all depends on what the market player though of what had happend on Thursday...

My play on Monday is to monitor my stoploss. If touched, I'll sell, otrwise, I'll hold to them.....

NI was being re-indexed during this weekend, meaning, some sleeping counters were taken out while active counters being added in. Total counters in NI currently stand at 320. That's should explain the changes in all numbers in NI above...

The market was on a bullish track since the 3~4 Oct and become more obvious by the 8th. However, the sudden volume increase in KLCI on 9th and 10th scares everyone that the market may take a abrupt u-turn. That prompt most people to take early profit in case merket is going to turn around. Some even short FKLI thinking that the market is too high, which indeed is.

In a cash market, an increase in volume causes KLCI to hike up, even with a smaller price increase. That was due to the weight put on counters according to its market capitalization. Same goes to the contrary. The big volume that happend on 9th and 10th may stop when sudden influx of buyers stop buying. Should the price stays, we will still see a consolidate or bearish market. Should we be worried?

I think, we should let the market to determine whether we should hold to our stocks or not. Have a stoploss and watch it. Most players are not buying anymore, and those numbered millions. With less people buying, prices will drop.

If market is still bullish, new bulls will lose their patience waiting and grap at whatever price they can get, as they think that the price is now cheap. If market become bearish, you have protect your principle with the stoploss...

For few reason, GK....

One: I don't want to reveal my cards to my opponents...

Two: I don't want to hear anyone commenting my stock picks. One of my trading rules is not to discuss my trade with others. I decide without being influenced, and I hold myself fully responsible on the decision I made.

Three: I don't want to become over confident when I win. When I discuss my trade with others, it may results in "showing off" when winning. I want to forget my trade when I loss. I want to forget it even faster when I win...


So GK, those are the reasons why I only discuss about the market in general.....
