Kisah budak kecil yang tinggalkan nota utk keluarganya selepas kematiannya

When 6-year-old Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer, she began hiding hundreds of little love notes around the house for her parents to find after she was gone. Here's the story: Just before her sixth birthday, Elena Desserich (right) was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 135 days to live. She lived 255 days, passing away in 2007. After her death, Elena's parents, Brooke and Keith, found hundreds of notes from Elena hidden around the house -- in between CD cases, between bookshelves, in dresser drawers, in backpacks....
"It just felt like a little hug from her, like she was telling us she was looking over us"

This is Our Elena...
- She always eats her vegetables first.
- She can never wear enough pink.
- She always writes her name backwards—not because she doesn’t know how to write it, but because she “just likes the way it looks.”
- She crosses her legs when she sits.
- There is nothing better than art class, except, of course, a trip to the library.
- Fiction is better than nonfiction.
- Skip the pop, give her milk. And pour it in a wineglass and say “cheers.”
- She loves “squibble-squabbles” (lace and ruffles).
- Tights are best when in jungle patterns or polka dots.
- No pants, only dresses.
- She loves babies.
- When you play school, she is always the teacher.
- Mom is best for cuddling.
- Sally (a grumpy old Chihuahua) is the best pet she never had.
- You can never have enough headbands.
- All she ever wants in life is to be a mom.

interestingnya..dier tulis ape...btw kisah Elena ni sangat sedih, ape dier buat mmg sweet tapi menambah kesedihan mak dier lagi. Bile mak dier dah move on skali terjumpa note, sure sedih gile kan...Takpon bile semua notes dah jumpe, sure mak dier mengharap ade notes lain pulak kat mane mane
