Pakaian saiz UK16 tidak lagi dijual dipasaran

PETALING JAYA: For plus-size women, buying new clothes for work and play may be harder than expected.
Some are complaining that several popular international boutiques have begun cutting back on their larger clothing sizes, claiming that there is no market because Malaysian women are just not that large.
Marketing communications assistant Lisa Santa Maria, 25, said it was increasingly difficult to find clothes for her curvy size UK16 figure in Malaysia.
“I shop overseas because it is so hard to find clothes here. I stock up when I travel. If I didn't travel, I'd feel it a lot more,” said Santa Maria.
Legal assistant Misha Yusuf (not her real name) deals with the dearth of plus size options by singling out larger sizes instead of choosing eye-catching designs.
“It's easier to just look at the sizes first and then see if you like it. It saves time and heartache.”
Misha, 24, who used to be a size UK16, finds it difficult despite losing weight and is now a UK14.
Teoh Minh Ling (not her real name), a 24-year-old writer, who is a size 16, said she noticed fewer items that fit her.
I've noticed this trend among many different outlets, and it's quite frustrating,” she said, adding that this included the popular outlet Cotton On.
According to a sales representative who declined to be named, Cotton On only sold clothing up to UK size 12 in Malaysian branches as “Asian women are just not that big”.
Forever 21, an American chain well known in the States for catering to plus-size women, also stops at size 12 here.
Its corporate communications officer, Nelly Ishak, said the chain's local operations did not bring in items from their supplier's plus size collection as the decision had been made by the management.
H&M's PR manager, Dawn Chow, said that two of the chain's outlets had a range of plus sized fashions, which went up to UK26.
“We don't order choices that are not as popular. It's a business decision,” she said.

peluang utk mereka yang berminat set up pakaian for plus size women.... kat malaysia ni.. lagi satu bukan sahaja pakaian malah bra pon susah nak carik appropriate size.. yang byk saiz budak baru baligh...

Tak payah nak fefeeling muda masuk Cotton On dgn Forever 21

Masuk jela Mark & Spencer, Ms. Read, Flow...nasib la kadang2 design makcik2 sikit.

Nak rugged sikit pegi Dorothy Perkins...H&M, Zara, Topshop ada tapi mmg tak banyak...Isetan also caters brands for plus size range...kena pandai2 la carik walaupon choices tak byk.

Saiz S/10. Tp masa kat UK, still leh pakai yg 8 punya. Org Melayu salu bumper besar kan? Tp patut syukur ah, ada shape. Ni dr tok nyang ke nenek ke mak ke diri sendiri, mmg genetik papan lapis. 160 cm tp nk cecah 48 kg pun sesak yg amat...
