KL,Georgetown jadi pilihan.

(Huffington Post, 9/7/2013)

Live and Invest Overseas, an online publication devoted to helping those interested in living abroad, has a list of the eight best places to retire for quality health care.
Live and Invest Overseas' Retirement Index took into account the availability of care that most foreigners would find acceptable; insurance coverage options; cost (both of care and of local insurance); and the quality and number of hospitals and clinics.
"If health care is apriority (that is, if you have an existing, ongoing medical concern), then you probably want to stick close to a city," said Kathleen Peddicord, publisher of Live and Invest Overseas. "Medical care is cheaper most everywhere in the world than it is in the United States; of course, not everywhere in the world boasts international-standard medical care.
"However, you can find top-notch care in centers of population, from Cuenca, Ecuador to Panama City, and from Kuala Lumpur to Montevideo," she added. "And, in these places, this legitimately world-class care can be one-fourth the cost of comparable care in the United States or less."

TOP 8

1) Cebu, Phillipines: In the Philippines, the private health care sector is booming, fueling afast-growing medical tourism industry.
2) ChiangMai, Thailand : Quality medical care there can be considered a "global bargain."
3) Cuenca, Ecuador : Health care is excellent in Cuenca. Live and Invest Overseas says that doctors there tend to spend 30 to 45 minutes with each patient. And costs are only a fraction of what they are in the United States.
4) Georgetown, Malaysia : Malaysia has become one of the world's top destinations when it comes to medical tourism. The country's modern hospitals and well-trained doctors-- not to mention low costs - are attracting growing numbers of foreigners.
5) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Malaysia has no medical schools, so doctors are trained overseas, usually in Europe, Canada, Australia or the United States, according to Kathleen Peddicord, publisher of Live and Invest Overseas.
6) Languedoc, France : France's health care system is the best in the world. If you’re alegal resident, health care is also highly subsidized by the government, sometimes even free.
7) Medellin, Colombia : Medellin is one of the top retirement spots in Latin America right now, with quality health care and easy access to the United States.
8) Panama City Beaches : Panama City Beaches are close enough to Panama City meaning retirees can count on high-quality health care within a 90-minute or so drive."So they're the best beach choice in Panama from a medical care point ofview".
