Lee Seung Ki and Cha Seung Won Are Strong Candidates for “You’re All Surrounded”
It has been reported that Lee Seung Ki and Cha Seung Won have been named as prospective candidates to be cast for the upcoming drama, “You’re All Surrounded.”
The new SBS drama “You’re All Surrounded” is to air in the middle of April. Sources from the production company HB Entertainnment commented, “It is true that Lee Seung Ki and Cha Seung Won are looking over the casting possiblity with favorable eyes. Official contracts have not yet been signed. They are currently working out the last stages of details.”
It was also recently known that actress Park Min Young was strongly leaning toward joining the “You’re All Surrounded” cast. She was previously a candidate for Lee Jong Suk and Park Hae Jin‘s “Doctor Stranger,” but decided not to go through with it.
Meanwhile, “You’re All Surrounded” is about young rookie policemen and women in their twenties. It will air after Park Yoo Chun‘s “Three Days” comes to an end.

Go Ara up for cop role opposite Lee Seung-gi
....She’s considering SBS’s upcoming police drama You’re All Surrounded, which is courting Lee Seung-gi and Cha Seung-won to star.
Her reps were careful to say that it’s just one of the projects she’s looking at. The production hasn’t officially locked Lee Seung-gi or Cha Seung-won in either, though they’re reportedly in final negotiations to sign on. They did court Park Min-young to co-star, but she passed on the project.

The drama will be about four twentysomething rookie cops and their journey to becoming good detectives. Cha Seung-won will play the hot-tempered captain of the violent crimes unit, and Lee Seung-gi has been cast as the hapless new guy on his team, though of course he also has a 150 IQ, because he’s a drama hero. Go Ara is up to play the enthusiastic heroine who applied five times before finally passing the test to become a cop.

SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday cop drama “You’re All Surrounded” has confirmed its two male leads, Cha Seung Won and Lee Seung Gi. Actress Go Ara was previously offered the female lead role, and she is purportedly in the middle of arranging her schedule.
Multiple broadcasting representatives have stated that “Cha Seung Won, Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara received casting offers and all three recently decided to do the drama.” Representatives have called it a “dream casting.”
However, the drama’s production company, HB Entertainment, stated that only Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have confirmed their appearances in the drama. “We are in the final stages of casting for ‘You’re All Surrounded.’ Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won have confirmed their appearance, while Go Ara is arranging her schedule.”
“You’re All Surrounded” is a cop drama revolving four rookie cops in their 20s who did not have any dreams of becoming detectives, and how they develop into true cops.
Cha Seung Won plays strong team leader Seo Pan Suk, who enables the rookie cops to develop and grow. This is Cha Seung Won’s first drama appearance in three years, since MBC’s “Best Love” in 2011.
In the role of bright and good-looking rookie cop Eun Dae Gu (with an IQ of 150), Lee Seung Gi plays a character who is also described as foul-mouthed and blunt, with a painful family history. He will be returning to dramaland a year after acting in MBC’s “Gu Family Book.”
Go Ara won critical praise for her role as Sung Na Jung in tvN’s “Reply 1994,” and if she confirms her appearance, she will play female detective Eo Soo Sun, who passes the police officer exam on her fifth try.
“You’re All Surrounded” will be written by Lee Jung Sun (“Ojakgyo Brothers”) and directed by Yoo In Sik (“Incarnation of Money,” “Giant”). The drama will follow after “Three Days” on SBS and is likely to premiere at the beginning of May. The production will begin filming once casting has been completed.

Actors Lee Seung-gi, Cha Seung-won, and Go Ara will appear in a new drama together.
A press release by HB Entertainment, set to produce the series named “You Are Surrounded” (translated title), announced through a press release on Wednesday that the three will star in the SBS show set to premiere in late April.
[size=1em]In the drama about newbie police officers in their twenties, Lee will play a newcomer police officer who is good-looking and extremely smart but cold and with a painful past regarding his family, Cha the manly captain of the team that Lee’s character is in, and Go the only female newcomer police officer who is both strong and shameless.
Lee, who made his debut in 2004 as a singer, has been acknowledged for his acting skills as well, and was most recently commended for his role in “Kang Chi, the Beginning”, which won him the top excellence prize at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards.
Cha is considered one of Korea’s strongest actors with more than 15 years of acting experience but he will be making a return to the small screen for the first time since MBC’s smash hit series “The Greatest Love” in 2011.
Go made her debut in 2003 but made a breakthrough just last year through the popular cable channel tvN drama “Reply 1994.”

Ahn Jaehyun cast in upcoming SBS drama alongside Lee Seunggi and Go Ara
Model-turned-actor and M!Countdown MC Ahn JaeHyun, who made his acting debut through hit drama 'You Who Came From the Star' is cast on the upcoming SBS drama 'You Are All Surrounded'.
The drama surrounds the stories of rookie police played by Lee SeungGi, Go Ara, and Ahn Jaehyun as well as veteran detective played by Cha Seung-Won. Ahn Jaehyun's acting in his previous drama as Jun JiHyun's younger brother earned him a spot as one of the four main characters in this upcoming police drama.
He's going to take the role of a rookie cop who is very secretive and mysterious which contrast his role as a highchool student in 'You Who Came From the Star'. Ahn Jaehyun's fans would definitely see a whole change in his role in this upcoming drama that would follow 'Three Days' in late April.
