Hi Semua..sekadar nk berkongsi..
Hari ni free sgt..jadi check kejap GSC website dgn harapan nak book la ticket tgk citer ni and apparently I could not find it listed..padahal last month dah ternampak poster Gone Girl kat pawagam dan tayangannya patut bermula 2.10.2014. So, I contacted GSC to find out why the movie was not listed and they said this question only distributor could answer it.
Jadi dgn gigihnya, pi la tanya 20th Century Fox Malaysia..bila nk bawa masuk filem ni? Sebabnya, ni la antara filem yg aku dok tunggu2 and most highly anticipated movies for 2014..so jawapan yg aku dpt adalah spt di bawah:
"The movie has been taken out of the release plan here due to the excessive censor cuts required, which significantly affect the movie experience. We hope you understand. Thank you for your continuous support."
So, dengan erti kata lain, filem ni mmg kena banned la kat Malaysia?? betul tak...

"Gone Girl" returns for Malaysia

7 Nov – Critically acclaimed thriller, "Gone Girl" from David Fincher starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike was initially slated for a 2 October 2014 release in Malaysia, and then it was abruptly pulled out. But now, the film has been slated for a 11 December release date in Malaysia, Twentieth Century Fox Malaysia has confirmed.
"Gone Girl" is rated R in U.S. for "a scene of bloody violence, some strong sexual content/nudity and language."
Here, the 149-minute film was originally slated for 2 October 2014, but was then pulled out from local release with Fox citing the following;
"The movie has been taken out of the release plan due to the excessive censor cuts required, which significantly affects the movie experience."
So what has changed now? Apparently Fox says that the movie will have a 18 rating in Malaysia and will keep its original runtime, meaning that the movie would suffer no cuts.
Since its premiere at the New York Film Festival on 26 September 2014, "Gone Girl" has been receiving generally positive reviews worldwide with some even marking the movie for the Oscars next year.
"Gone Girl" is based on the 2012 novel by Gillian Flynn. The 149-minute film narrates the decline of a married couple's relationship, Nick Dunne (Affleck) and his wife, Amy Dunne (Pike). On the day of their 5th wedding anniversary, Amy suddenly goes missing and Nick is labelled as the prime suspect. Before long, more and more harrowing clues start to emerge.
The score of the movie is composed by Oscar-winning composers, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross who had previously worked on Fincher's other films, "The Social Network" and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo".
Back in February 2011, Fincher's "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" was also pulled out of release in Malaysia due to the nature of the film's content.

tapikan cerita nie .... watak lelaki tu nampak macam dia nie punca segalanya
tapi actually watak perempuan tu ler sebenarnya
perempuan ni ada masalah mental ...
dan ending sungguh ler ... kesian ....

Best tk buku? ingat nk beli aritu pastu baca reviews ramai juga yg tk ska..
ramai tak suka sebab kena baca "diary" amy ....
and slow pace and kena fikir banyak ...
then dalam fikiran sure ingat nick nie ada muslihat
kalau nak bagi rate buku 3.7/5 ....
so better tengok movie ler ...
