anticipate the movie walaupun orang duk kata bakal flop. come on la. there's a reason why they have to reboot the character etc. takkan nak biar si chris evans pegang character capt. america dgn human torch, mungkin depa dah ada future planning utk f4 muncul dalam avengers...who knows?. lagi pun ke empat2 character dalam new f4 ni semua memang berbakat besar especially miles teller.
bagi peluang as i dont see it as problem bila di reboot f4 ni.
Sumber screen rant:
Unlike the two previous Fantastic Four films that were directed by Tim Story, the reboot will be based primarily on the Ultimate Marvel version of theFantastic Four’s origins, in which the team are much younger when they gaintheir powers during a lab experiment with teleportation. The film stars MilesTeller as Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic), Kate Mara as Sue Storm (InvisibleWoman), Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Jamie Bell as BenGrimm (The Thing). There’s been some confusion surrounding theportrayal of Fantastic Four villain Doctor Doom, with many fansleft angered when Kebbell revealed hisnew character name and occupation as a programmer and blogger who uses “ Doom” as his onlinehandle. In the trailer it was revealed that Victor Domashev works for Dr.Franklin Storm alongside the Fantastic Four, and he was briefly seen wearinghis traditional visage and hood. Quite a lot of details flashed by in the space ofthe two minutes, but fortunately Livefor Films hasposted some high-res stills showing each of the Fantastic Four showing offtheir powers, as well as an image of Doom in his villain attire. In addition to her ability to turn invisible,Sue Storm also demonstrated use of forcefields and the apparent ability to fly, and the above still of her squaring offagainst her brother appears to be the start of the fight scene between the twocharacters. Meanwhile Bell’s performance as the Thing will largely be motioncapture for a fully CG creation, unlike the previous films where MichaelChiklis donned a forty pound foam suit for the role. If Victor Domashev follows the same arc as Doctor Doom inthe Ultimate comics, the strange mask he appears to be wearing may actually behis real face. In the source material, the same accident which gives theFantastic Four their powers causes Victor to develop metallic skinand cloven hooves instead of feet. Creepy. Fantastic Four hits theaters August7th, 2015.
official trailer yang duration 2.54 instead of 1 min something.
excerpt form a rant by blog critic:
In the case of Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing, we get to see what they can do up close in a way we hadn’tpreviously. We see Invisible Woman flying, using her forcefield generatingpowers as a concussive blast. We see Human Torch flying and “flaming on.” Wesee The Thing just walking around being The Thing (and also punching things). The footage of The Thing is, in fact, probably the mostrevealing from the trailer. He has an almost creepy, lifeless look in his eyes, like his eyes are made of rock, too (or maybe that’s just poor CGI). For me, itkind of works, though I definitely want to see more before I render finaljudgment. |

20th Century Fox’s upcoming reboot of Fantastic Four is hardly theyear’s most anticipated superhero movie, but the overall consensus surroundingJosh Trank’s film has seemed to have shifted from downright dread to cautiousoptimism. That’s the power an intriguing trailer can have, as the movie’s first preview paints the new take on Marvel’s firstfamily as a compelling sci-fi drama – one that explores the potential of humandiscovery. The studio has been slow to unveil any new promotionalmaterials (since it put out that trailer a couple of months ago). However, nowthat the film’s August release date is fast approaching, Fox is beginning tocrank up the marketing machine. Earlier today, we got to see some new still images – including the first great look atJamie Bell’s the Thing. The marketing push continues with another freshimage of Ben Grimm’s alter ego, along with more details from Tankon how FantasticFour resembles ahorror film. First up is the new picture of the Thing, which comes to us courtesy of EW.In a slight contrast from the one we saw previously, this one showcases Grimmin an action pose. It looks like the hero is in the middle of clobberin’ time, but the identity of his victim is unknown for now: Shortly after the trailer came out, it wasstated that Trank and his team had opted to not releaseanything for a while because they wanted to ensure the specialeffects shots were complete andup to their standards. That’s probably why a true Thing reveal was put offuntil now, since the character is heavily reliant on CGI to come to life. Withthe amount of scrutiny facing FantasticFour, it’s no wonder they wanted to make sure Grimm’s super formwas just rightbefore it entered the court of public opinion. And, for our part, the characterlooks solid based on what we’ve seen. One of the biggest takeaways from the teaser trailer washow the tone of the reboot was the polar opposite of the campy adaptations thatgraced screens in the mid-2000s. Trank is obviously striving for a grounded, more serious portrayal with his take on the property. While cast members havecome out and said that there will be humor sprinkled throughout the proceedings,it’s not going to be all fun and games for Reed Richards and company. Speakingwith EW,Trank discussed the horror film aspect FantasticFour possesses: Becoming a superhero is something many of usdream of, but one has to admit: if any of us regular Joes suddenly burstinto flame or turned into a rock monster, it would be a little petrifying – atleast to begin with. Trank mentioning that the powers represent a curse harkensback to Bruce Banner’s character arc in The Avengers, where the mild-manneredscientist had a similar viewpoint on “the other guy.” Based on thedirector’s statement, much of FantasticFour‘s dramatic tension will stem from the four protagonistslearning to embrace their gifts for the good they can achieve. At first blush, that may sound like your standard originstory fare; more often than not, though, the discovery of superpowers iscoupled with joy and enthusiasm. Even the brooding Man of Steel cracked a smile when he learned hecould fly. If this angle is handled properly, not only can it be somethingrelatively fresh for fans of the comic book movie genre, Fantastic Four can become a special film thatconnects with its viewers in more ways than one. Fantastic Fourwillbe in theaters August 7, 2015.
