Guna duit kerajaan negeri tapi kerja untuk parti DAP ?
Sebab tu saya berani kata...pps bukan dibayar dgn duit rakyat penang utk kepentingan rakyat Penang sendiri..tapi duit rakyat penang digunakan atas kepentingan pemimpin dap dan parti dap.
Tugas peronda sukarela Penang kalau nak pasang pun..pasanglah Bendera Penang bukan bendera dap...tu dah seleweng dan salahguna duit rakyat namanya.
Ce kalau umno yg buat..celaka2 in juga akan busing benda yg sama..skrg mereka backuplah....msk lah cerita rela lah..rukun tertangga lah... |

Reports of violent conduct by the Voluntary Patrol Team raise concerns.
PETALING JAYA: Penang’s Voluntary Patrol Team (PPS) has garnered some notoriety lately over the alleged beating of Ong Eu Soon, 52, a social activist known to be critical of the state government. Reader Siew Boon Hock wrote to FMT to express his concerns, particularly over the fact that the alleged attackers, Lee Yew Kuen and Lee Chan Kwong are represented by a legal team consisting of Bukit Gelugor Member of Parliament Ramkarpal Singh and assemblymen Wong Hon Hai, RSN Rayer and Yeoh Soon Hin.
The alleged attack, according to Ong, began at 10.45pm at a marketplace in Bandar Baru Air Itam. He said the two accused and others, some dressed in the purple vest of the PPS, assaulted him with motorcycle helmets. He received outpatient treatment at a hospital.
The accused claim that Ong attacked them first, pushing Chan Kwong, 35, off his motorcycle and beating Yew Kuen with a stick when he rushed to aid his friend. Both claim they were not wearing their PPS uniforms during the alleged attack.
Curiously, Ong’s police report was made at 11.05pm, while Yew Kuen and Chan Kwong claim that he attacked them at 11pm. No medical reports were presented at the press conference held by the PPS to exonerate their men, and the hospital that examined Ong found no trace of the drunkenness alleged by Yew Kuen and Chan Kwong.
The MCA, in a press statement, has demanded that the Home Ministry investigate if the PPS is a legally registered body. It also demands disclosure of the PPS’s recruitment procedures and scope of duties.
“This alleged aggression is not PPS’s first,” the statement says. “Eighteen months ago, a PPS member, Lim Ah Chai, assaulted a Guang Ming Daily pressman and destroyed his camera and SIM card. The political secretary to the Penang Chief Minister, Ng Wee Aik, had to apologise to the victim on behalf of the state government.”
“Subsequently, the aggressor was expelled, for ‘life’,” said Michael Lee, the Penang MCA Youth Chairman. “However, barely a year later, he attended the funeral of former DAP chairman, the late Karpal Singh, as a PPS member.”
The MCA statement also exhorted the Penang state government to explain the alleged assaults and to conduct background checks before recruitment is undertaken.
The PPS was established in 2011 by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. It is given an annual allocation of RM1.5 million, and members are provided with walkie-talkies and clothing, including vests and hats. They also get insurance coverage.

GEORGE TOWN: Police detained 154 Penang Voluntary Patrol (PPS) personnel for refusing to stop their activities after it was found to be an illegal organisation.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said all PPS personnel, including seven women, were held at 10.15am in Padang Kota here Sunday to assist investigations under Section 41 of the Societies Act for not registering with the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
" Police started taking action against PPS personnel after they were adamant in carrying out their activities despite my prior warning that it is an illegal organisation that has been banned and all activities should cease immediately.
"They insisted on carrying their activities and deliberately wanted to challenge the country's law and dared police to take action...they acted like gangsters," he said when contacted by Bernama.
On Tuesday, Khalid had issued a statement that PPS was considered an illegal organisation which violated Section 41 of the Societies Act for not being registered.
Khalid said PPS should suspend all activities and write to ROS to seek clarification via the legal channel.
He said police have acted according to the law and would investigate and refer the case to the Attorney-General's office for further action.
"They will not be allowed to meet anybody including lawyers as police are conducting investigations and PPS lawyers who were unhappy at not being allowed to meet detained PPS personnel, I am telling them to refer to their law books.
"If police could not settle their investigations in 24 hours, maybe we will seek a remand order from the court tomorrow morning to complete investigations and under remand, lawyers could meet their clients," he said.
In another development, a group of lawyers comprising Ramkarpal Singh, R.S.N Rayer, Cheah Ka Peng and Soon Lip Chee said they were prepared to represent all those arrested.
"We have 10 lawyers to assist them (PPS personnel), we are sad over the incident today," said Rayer.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's scheduled meeting with Seberang Perai PPS personnel at Seberang Perai Municipal Council auditorium has been postponed.
In addition, the state government had also postponed all PPS activities for while obtaining feedback from the state legal advisor. - Bernama

Exco Pulau Pinang ditahan polis kes peronda sukarela
– 31 Ogos, 2014.
