ILLEGAL drugs worth $75 million have been found in containers of frozen fish intercepted by officers in Sydney.

TWO men have been arrested after police seized more than 100 kilograms of heroin and methamphetamines.

The men, aged 55 and 57, allegedly disguised the drugs as liquid in ice packs beneath frozen fish fillets from Malaysia.
Customs officers intercepted the delivery after monitoring the 57-year-old Vietnamese/Canadian national when he arrived in Australia in early September.
Police switched the 88 kilograms of heroin and 21 kilograms of methamphetamines with substitute substances.
The next day, the two men allegedly picked up their package and were arrested in Fairfield last Thursday.
A makeshift heavy-duty press, used to compress bricks of heroin, was discovered in the operation.

NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said authorities would relentlessly hunt down organised crime groups.
"This is organised crime at its worst, law enforcement at its best," he told reporters on Monday.
"Innovation is their middle name."
The drugs equated to more than 780,000 street deals of heroin and 200,000 hits of ice.
Federal police, customs, NSW police, the Australian Crime Commission and the NSW Crime Commission were involved in the operation.
The arrested Vietnamese/Canadians will face court later this month

Setahu saya fish fillets di pasaraya kita banyak dari Australia/NZ.
