[V Report] Ryu Jun-yeol shares his dream on V

Actor Ryu Jun-yeol, who rose to stardom starring in recent megahit TV series “Reply 1988,” showed up on Naver‘s live-streaming V app Sunday.
During the show, the 29-year-old shared his own thoughts after reading stories sent from fans concerning their dreams.

One college student, 25, said, she went to art college because she wanted to become an artist, but she was now not sure about her dream. Another high school student, 17, also shared similar concerns that she didn’t have any dreams for her future, although her friends had already found theirs.
After reading the stories, Ryu said, “I think, it is more important to find out what you want in your life before pursuing a career. My goal in life is to help people in need and I am happy I will be able to achieve that dream through my career.”

To the high school student he said, “Some of my friends in their 30s are still looking for their dreams. I also had no (clear) dream in high school, but I did a lot, such as playing instruments or playing sports to find out what I really liked.“
Another fan asked Ryu how he felt about his Junghwan character. Who would become the husband of Deoksun (Hyeri) in the “Reply 1988” series created much buzz until the TV drama ended and Choi Taek (Park Bo-gum) turned out to be Deoksun’s husband in the last episode.
”Indeed, I and Park did not pay much attention to who would become her husband. What we -- the director and actors -- wanted to show from the beginning was the warmth of family and people,” he said.
“Still, I was very happy that many viewers paid great attention to Junghwan,” he added.

Shinhwa member Jun Jin showed up alone after finishing his concert in Beijing.
“I just completed a fan concert in Beijing. It was so fun because there were a lot of fans,” he said, adding, “I heard there are many fans at the airport. Please, go home because it is too cold there.
“This is the Year of the Monkey, so I am a monkey,” he said, making a monkey face. Jun was born in 1980, which was also the Year of the Monkey in the Chinese zodiac calendar.
“Many of my friends caught a cold. I hope you take care of your health. Luckily, today is not that cold and it is rather warm.”

Before starting the show, member Taewoong said, “We are so happy to see fans here.”
When Suhyun asked, “How happy are you?” he replied with a beam, “A lot.”
After seeing the number of hearts rising fast on the application, Suhyun said, “It seems like it may soon pass 200,000. What would you do if the number reaches 200,000?”
When Taewoong was hesitant and said nothing, Woosung instead said, ”Then, Taewoong will take off his shirt with Sangil and Sebin.” Others looked excited, clapping their hands.
After they made the promise, fans looked excited, saying, “Good” or “I will press a lot.”
At the end of the show, however, the number fell short of the goal, ending at about 138,000.
