Likely Cameo as Lee Hyun Woo Spotted at the Script Reading for Scholar Who Walks the Night

The eagle-eyed netizens have struck again, this time not doing reconnaisance to catch K-stars secretly dating but instead ferreting out a secret casting. Cutie pie and super talented young actor Lee Hyun Woo was spotted at the script reading for upcoming fantasy sageuk Scholar Who Walks the Night. I posted about that script reading and the picture that Lee Hyun Woo was in was even plastered on the site homepage for hours, yet no one (myself included) spotted him LOL. Collective eyesight fail!

Scholar has completed full casting already and Lee Hyun Woo is a buzzy enough name, albeit still a rising actor, that his casting for a main role would have made the news. Looks like he’s doing a cameo appearance, though it’s unknown what exactly the role entails and how long his presence will last in the drama. Might even be a few episodes long even much like Song Joong Ki did in Tree with Deep Roots. Night Scholar is already a must watch drama for me so secretly adding in Lee Hyun Woo is just icing on the cake.

Lee Jun Ki Sustains Injury While Filming “The Scholar Who Walks the Night”

It has been revealed that Lee Jun Ki sustained an injury while filming his drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night.”

His agency Namoo Actors shared on June 10, “While Lee Jun Ki was filming during dawn, he fractured his nose. We plan on making sure he is in stable condition after surgery.”

The actor is making his drama comeback through MBC‘s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night.” The first episode is scheduled to air in July. However, with the actor’s injury a delay in filming is expected and many fans are worried about the actor.

Lee Jun Ki undergoes surgery for a broken nose due to injury from filming his new drama

It has been unfortunately revealed that actor Lee Jun Ki has sustained injury while filming for his new drama 'Scholar Who Walks the Night'. He has apparently suffered a broken nose and has just received surgery.

His rep commented, "He got hurt while filming his new drama. He received surgery on his nose and is resting at the moment. He is going to try his best so that he doesn't cause any delays [with the drama]."

Another rep added, "Because he started filming back in May, it doesn't seem like there will be any issues for now since he has already filmed many scenes. As of right now, he needs plenty of rest, that's all that's been decided for now. We will watch over his condition and let you know."

We hope he gets all the rest that he needs because health should always come first!

Agency updates on Lee Yu Bi's condition as co-star Lee Jun Ki returns to filming their drama

If you recall, both Lee Jun Ki and Lee Yu Bi got injured on the set of their upcoming drama, 'Scholar Who Walks the Night,' and while Lee Jun Ki has returned to the set after nose surgery, the actress was revealed to still be recovering from her slipped disc.

Agency Sidus HQ revealed to TV Daily on June 19, "Lee Yu Bi is currently still admitted into the hospital. She needs a bit more treatment, so I think we just need to watch over her. The date for her return has not been concretely decided on yet, rather we will decide on her return depending on what the doctor says."
