penah makan subrex dlu... tak silap salah 1 fungsi dia kuatkan dinding arteri jantung... tp dlam kosmetik pn lately ad coQ10 ni...

first of most, sebelum ambil makanan tambahan, kita kena tanya diri kita, apa tujuan kita makan.
kena set goal. not just orang makan kita pun makan.
aku selalu advise my patient bila diorg tanya pasal makanan tambahan, aku tanya dulu apa dia nak capai.
ada orang makan supplement sebab nak cantik kulit, nak jaga jantung, nak awet muda, nak betulkan sistem penghadaman, etc.
jadi supplement yg dia kena ambil pun beza.
CoQ10 ada banyak fungsi dia. kalau google memang bersusun fungsi CoQ10 (orang sekarang suka google and buat interpretasi sendiri), persoalannya, yang mana satu antara fungsi2 dalam CoQ10 tu bagus untuk capai GOAL kita? atau ada supplement gantian yang lagi bagus daripada CoQ10 untuk capai GOAL kita?
so, aku cadangkan sebelum on apa2 supplement termasuk CoQ10, tetapkan GOAL yang kita nak capai, then baru fikir supplement yang sesuai.  
The best way is to consult a pharmacist tentang GOAL yang kita nak capai.

semua pharmacist boleh bg info macam ni.  especially community pharmacist.  pegi je kat farmasi dan mintak untuk jumpa pharmacist, bukan pembantu kedai.
mostly kat farmasi ada bilik rundingan (macam bilik doktor).  mintak untuk bincang kat bilik rundingan n dia boleh terangkan satu-satu.  free je. tak perlu bayar.
ramai orang tak perasan servis ni kat farmasi.

What is Coenzyme Q10?
Coenzyme Q10, or ubiquinone, is a compound with an essential role in mitochondrial electron transport, making it a fundamental part of cellular energy production.
Coenzyme Q10 is also an antioxidant. Its ability to quench free radicals helps maintain the structural integrity and stability of cell membranes (including intracellular membranes). It is also capable of improving oxidation resistance of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. Additional evidence suggests that Coenzyme Q10 uses its antioxidant capabilities to regenerate vitamin E.
CoQ10's other name, ubiquinone, signifies its ubiquitous (widespread) distribution in the human body. Highest levels of Coenzyme Q10 are found in the heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas.
CoQ10 supplementation has therapeutic benefits for several diseases. Some of the best-documented effects involve cases of heart failure, ischemic heart disease, certain muscular dystrophies, hypertension, and periodontal disease.
CoQ10 is synthesized in all cells of the body. It is also absorbed from food. Major sources of dietary CoQ10 include meats, fish, and vegetable oils (particularly soybean, sesame, and rapeseed oils). Vegetables are generally low in CoQ10, with the exception of spinach and broccoli.
As aging occurs, the body's ability to synthesize CoQ10 diminishes significantly. Deficiencies may also result from reduced assimilation from dietary sources.
Coenzyme Q10 supplements are generally considered safe and are best absorbed by the body when taken with foods. The usual maintenance dose is 10-30 mg per day, although higher doses are used therapeutically for the treatment of heart and blood vessel disease.

coQ10 is good specific heart , but not for treatment . Baik kepeda orang tua , orang muda boleh makan , not harm.

Bcuz coq10  our body already generate, tapi something wrong our body , then make us tired , cannot generate baik , kuat , coq10 , so need extra support.
