Inspired by Hideo Nakata`s own 1996 horror " Ghost Actress ", the film follows Sara Mizuki who has been cast to play a small role in a stage play directed by Gota Nishikino. The lead actresses of the play are Aoi Shinohara and Kaori Nomura. Strange things begin to happen in the theatre when a female staff is suddenly found dead. Aoi then accidentally falls down and loses consciousness. Now, Sara has to take over Aoi`s position as the lead actress.
