Pastry Pie [ lobak_oren ]

2 cups plain flour
150g butter, chilled, cubed
1 egg yolk.
2-3 tblsp iced water
1 egg yolk, extra
1 tblsp milk

-sift the flour into a large bowl

-rub in the butter with your fingertips until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.masukkan sikit2 jer butter ni.. jgn masukkan sekali semua.. takut terlembik.. the clue is when the dough cam bread crumbs

-Add the egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of the water and mix with a knife, using a cutting action, until the mixture comes together in beads, adding more water if the dough is too dry.
-Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and gather together to form a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

bila nak pakai boleh la diivide pastry in half...
then roll out , until large enough to line the pie plate.
the fill with cold filling..
line the rest of the pastry on top...
Brush the pastry edges with water.
Lay the pastry over the pie and gently press or pinch to seal.
Trim any excess pastry.

Cut a few steam holes in the top of the pastry.
Beat together the egg yolk and milk and brush over the top of the pie.

Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the filling is hot.

Sandwich Tuna amdude

roti gardenia
butter
tuna (ayam brand ada macam macam perisa)
salad
tomato

sapu butter pada 2 keping roti... letak salad kat roti then spread tuna... kalau nak pedas bubuh sikit white pepper...letak tomato... then kapit dengan roti yg satu lagi.

) Tuna dalam tin (suka hati korang nak flavouor apa... tp aku suggest chilli tomato)
2) Telur ayam
3) Cheese kraft singles
4) Parmessan Cheese/ Cheddar
5) Bawang besar
6) Butter
7) Chilli flakes/ chilli powder/ mexican chilli powder/ pepper
8) Roti

method:

1) Telur ayam tu korang buat cam scramble egg... ikut citarasa korang la nak wat rare ker, half done ker... or well done kerr
2) Bawang tu lak korang hiris and korang goreng kasi layu jgn kasi garing
3) Roti korang prepare siap ngan butter
4) Telur td korang letak sket kat atas roti, bawang sket, tuna sket, chilli flakes sket, parmessan sket, then korang top ngan cheese kraft singles kat atas topping tu... kira cam wat pizza la nih......
5) Korang bakar kat dalam toaster sampai roti tu garing, bukan hangus....

kupas kulit telur..hancurkan dengan garfu. masukkan Butter satu sudu..garam ngan Mayo..kacau sampai sebati..

sapu bahan pada roti..letak cheese...pergghh...potong le ikut suka ati...
sedap kalau potong kecil..budak budak suka...

kesemua bahan2 di atas, di pukul dlm satu bowl... n then buat scamble egg...peh tuh masa nak makan...kalau rajin..taruk lar salad sikit ker...potongan tomato ker... or simply just sapu mayo kat atas roti..kalau nak best lagi taruk cheese.... simple yet nice to eat...

Fruit Tarts [dindazZz]

12 Servings

Pastry:
1-1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Butter Flavor CRISCO Shortening
3 tablespoons water

Filling:
1 package (3-3/4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding
2 cups 2% lowfat milk *

Topping:
1 cup Preserves Fruits (such as orange, apricot or pineapple)
1 teaspoon water
1-1/2 cups assorted fresh fruit

Preheat oven to 425F.

Combine flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Cut in Butter Flavor Crisco to form cornmeal type mixture. Sprinkle with water a tablespoon at a time; toss with a fork. Divide dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each into 4-inch circle. Press into tart molds or place pastry circles over back of inverted 2-3/4-inch muffin pan cups or small custard cups. Pinch together in several places so pastry fits cups. Prick with a fork

Bake at 425F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Cool on rack 2 to 3 minutes, then carefully remove shells. Cool completely.
Prepare pudding following package directions.

Spoon 1 tablespoon of pudding into each tart shell.
Melt preserves and water over low heat. Strain through a fine wire mesh collander. Cool slightly.

Arrange fruit slices on top of pudding. Drizzle 1/2 teaspoon preserves over fruit. Serve immediately.

*Whole milk may be substituted, but calories and cholesterol will increase

Sardine Roll sedap[RedRose]

Bahan-Bahan :-

1 bungkus    roti Gardenia
1 tin            Sadin Cap Ayam(Tin kecit aje)
1/2 biji         Bawang besar(Dicincang)
1 biji            Cili merah(Dicincang)
1/2 biji         Limau nipis
2 biji            Telur
Garam sesedap rasa
minyak untuk menggoreng

Cara-Cara :-

Inti
1. Sadin dikeluarkan dari tin dan di hancurkan. Kuah Sadin ambil sikit aje.
2. Tambah garam, bawang dan cili merah.
3. Gaul rata. Letak tepi.

Roll
1. Ambil sekeping roti, pastu dileperkan guna apa sahaja benda yang bulat panjang.. cth: tumbler. atau mende penggelek yang guna utk leperkan biskut raya tu.
2. Kene leperkan sampai bebetul leper. kalau tak nanti masuk minyak, tak sedap.
3. Setelah leper, letakkan inti. Gulungkan. Dibahagian hujung, Gamkan dengan telur yang telah dikacau.[/color

Goreng
1. Panaskan minyak dalam kuali.
2. Celupkan roti tadi dalam telur yang telah dicampurkan garam.
3. Goreng roti hingga kekuningan. Pastikan minyak telah panas sebelum masukkan roti.

Angkat setelah kekuningan. Biar sejuk sebelum dihidangkan. Kalau tak sejuk, nanti melecur mulut sebab inti tu panassss....

French Toast [brouhaha]

(a) 1 biji telur ayam
(b) 1 sudu besar susu  fresh milk (tak kisah la  UHT milk ke, full fat milk ke, low fat milk ke)
(c) garam secukup rasa (kalau nak letak kicap masin pun takpa - tapi dia jadi brown laa)
(d) ground pepper (lada hitam/lada putih tak kisah)
(e) 2 keping roti
(f) a bit of butter (for frying)

what to do :
pecahkan  telur dlm mangkuk dan beat the egg with a fork sampai telur kuning dan telur putih tu sebati. masukkan items (b), (c) and  (d) dlm mangkuk and mix them well.

pastu selamkan roti dlm mixture tu. make sure both sides of the roti is well coated with the mixture.

Panaskan pan and put a bit of butter in the pan.

fry the roti. (both sides of it)

bahan A

120 gm tepung gandum diayak
2/3 cawan nestum cereals
2 camca besar gula atau secukup rasa
3 camca teh serbuk penaik
secubit garam

bahan B
1 biji telur dipukul. kalau tanak masuk pun takpe
350 ml susu
1 camca besar minyak
1/2 camca teh esen vanila
1/2 cawan kismis kalo suker

caranya:
1. campur bahan A didalam mangkuk,masukkan bahan B sedikit demi sedikit
2. kacau rata sampai sebati dan pekat, masuk kismis
3. panaskan kuali non-stick dan masukkan i camca besar adunan
4. api biar kecik, terbalik kan adunan tu dan masak sebelah lagi.
5. hidangkan panas2 ngan jem, mentega, asikrim whatever la yang korang suker.


Penkek Jagung [hanieliza]

Tepung naik sendiri...2 cawan
Telur.................1 biji
Susu tepung...........2 sudu
Jagung dalan tin......3 sudu
gula..................2 sudu
garam.................1 sudu kecil
air...................agak-agak jer..[Jangan pekat sangat]

gaul rata semua dan biarkan sekejap...
Ratakan butter sikit dalam kuali tak lekat..
Tuangkan adunan dalam kuali dan tutup kuali..
Gunakan api yang kecil aje...biarkan sekejap dan terbalikkan penkek tu..
Hidangkan suam-suam...

Simple Pancakes [populargurlz]

1 cawan tepung naik sendiri
1 sudu gula halus
1/2 cawan susu cair
1 biji telur

1.campor tepung n gula
2.campor telor n susu.kacau.
3.campor semua bahan.
4.kacau kuat2 n banyak kali
5.letakkan adunan diatas nan-stick pan
6.dah siap, hidangkan.


Yoghurt Pancake [nano]
Source : Kuali.com

Ingredients:
   1 egg
   1/2 tub plain yoghurt
   2 tblsp sugar
   100 gm floor
   1/3 tsp baking powder
   50 cc water

Method:
Mix everything in a bowl.
The batter should come up to a fairly thick consistency.
Heat a flat non-stick pan over very slow fire.
Use a serviette to coat the pan with olive oil.
Scoop the batter and drop a ladle full of it onto the pan.
Let one side cook, then flip the pancake over to cook the other side.
When both sides are done, remove from pan and serve.


PANCAKE STACK WITH WHIPPED BUTTER & MAPLE SYRUP [Kimmy]

1 1/2 cups (185 g/6 oz)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp caster sugar
pinch of salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup (250 ml/8 fl oz) milk
60 g (2 oz) butter, melted
100g (3 1/3 oz) butter, whipped (with electric beaters or a wooden spoon)
maple syrup to serve.

Method:

1. Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl and make a well in the centre. Mix together the eggs, milk and butter in a jug and pour into the well all at once. whisking to form a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set the batter aside for 20 minutes.

2.Heat a frying pan and brush lightly with melted butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup  (60ml/ 2fl oz) batter in the pan and swirl gently. Cook over low heat,until underside is golden.

3. serve the pancakes stacked warm or cold with whipped butter and maple syrup.


SPICY PANCAKES WITH CINNAMON CREAM [Kimmy]


1/2 cup ( 60g/ 2 oz) self raising flour
1/2 cup  plain flour
2 tsp mixed spice
1/2 tsp ground cardamon
1 tbsp soft brown sugar
1 cup (250 ml/8 fl oz) milk
2 eggs
fresh raspberries, to serve


CINNAMON CREAM

1/3 cup (90 g/3oz) sour cream
2 tbsp plain yoghurt
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/4 ground cinnamon


Cara membuat sama saperti resepi diatas.

To make Cinnamonm Cream
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bolw. Cover and refrigerate



Pancake Oat [Rimbun]

1/2 cawan susu cair
2 sudu besar susu pekat manis
4-5 sudu besar oatmeal
1 biji telur
sedikit baking powder
garam skit
sedikit serbuk kayu manis
Tepung gandum dlm satu cawan (jgn habiskan, depends pada kepekatan bancuhan)

Masukan semua bahan diatas (kecuali tepung gandum) kedalm blender. blend sampai sebati. then masukan tepung gandum. agak2 jgn sampai pekat sangat.
Goreng atas non-stick frying pan yg di letakn dengan sedikit butter.
Letak dalam 2-3 sudu besar setiap kali goreng (supaya nipis) sampai habis adunan
Bole dimakan begitu sahaja or di sapu peanut butter/kaya/nutella n digulung or dilipat.

Oat tu boleh jugak di ganti dengan pisang berangan


Penkek Susu [Adeknana]

4 sudu tepung gandum
4 sudu susu tepung
1 butir telur
secubit garam
1/2 sudu kecik baking powder
Air secukup pekat/cair

Bhn tambahan:
Nestum
Oat

Campur sumer, kacau sampai rata. kasi belen pekat ngan cair dia.
Nana ceduk pakai senduk utk kuah tu, satu senduk = 1 keping
goreng dlm kuali biasa je... insya allah sodap.
Sodap lagi kalu cicah susu manis (org kg ekekek) atau apa2 syrup

Egg Banjo - Roti John Style [detox]

Roti Hot Dog
Telur
Garam
Lada
Bawang - di dadu
Cheese - any kind cheddar , mozarella, parmesan

cara :
1. roti hotdog tu di belah(jgn putus) sapu butter dan buat toast on pan.
2. whisk telur + garam + lada with forkpanaskan pan with butter.- skit je just to glaze the panbuat cam telur dadar
3. once dia dah garing bubuh cheese, biar sampai cheese cair,tepi kan.
4. in the same pan (klu rajin nak pakai pan 2 - 3 bijik pun tak kisah)panaskan butter -skit je masukkan bawang dadu tadi
5. dah layu bubuh atas cheese yang dah cair tu
6. bubuh le apa2 atas dia -cili sos / mayo/ apa 2 la yg u all suka
7. lastly letak dalam roti hotdog yang dah di toast

Shrimp Tartlets [dindazZz]

Pastry:
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/3 CRISCO Stick
1/3 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese
1 egg
1 to 2 tablespoons cold water

Filling:
1 bag (16 ounces) frozen vegetable blend (such as cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots )
Sauce:
2 tablespoons CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 2 tablespoons CRISCO Stick
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash white pepper
2 tablespoons whipping cream
2/3 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese

For pastry, preheat oven to 425F. Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in Crisco with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles cornmeal. Stir in cheese, egg, and enough water to form dough.

Roll out pastry to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Using the lid from a 3-pound Crisco can as a pattern, cut 8 circles (about 5-1/4 inches each). Place pastry circles over backs of inverted 2-3/4-inch muffin-pan cups or small custard cups. Pierce with a fork.

Bake at 425F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a rack for 2 to 3 minutes, then carefully remove shells from muffin pans.

For filling, prepare vegetables according to package directions. Reserve 8 vegetable pieces for garnish. Chop remaining vegetables to 1/2-inch pieces. Keep all vegetables warm while preparing sauce.

For sauce, melt Crisco in a saucepan. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture boils and thickens; stir constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in salt, pepper, cream, and Cheddar cheese.

Spoon vegetables into the baked tart shells. Spoon sauce over vegetables. Garnish with vegetable pieces. Serve hot.

4. PASTUH, LETAKKAN PADA ROTI. ATAU TEKUPKAN ROTI DI ATAS RAMUAN DI ATAS.
5. MASAK LER MACAM KORANG TENGOK KAT PASAR MALAM TUH.
6. LEPAS TUH LETAK LER TIMUN, SALAD, MAYONIS DAN SOS..


Roti John [hanieliza]

Beberapa biji roti hot-dog...belah 2 saperti nak masak hot-dog
Hirisan timun atau salad hijau
sos cili
mayonis

1 tin kecil sardin ........hancurkan isinya
1 labu bawang besar...potong dadu kecil
3 biji bili merah...........cincang halus
2 biji telur..................pukul skit
garam secukupnya

Cara:
1.  Gaul rata semua bahan.
2.  Sapukan skit minyak dalam kuali leper (lebih elok gunakan kuali tak lekat) dan sendukkan adunan sadin dan tutupkan dengan roti hot-dog yg dah dibelah tadi.
3.  Biarkan garing skit dan angkat.
4.  Masukkan hirisan timun atau salad dan sos cili & mayonis
5.  Hidangkan semasa panas /suam


Roti john ala Singapore [blackmore]

kalau kat spore plak...roti john nie...slalunya kita gunakan roti perancis...roti nie dibelah dua dan potong ikut suka masing2...

...daging cincang nie kita goreng dulu (tanpa minyak tuk hilangkan darahnya)
...bahan2 lain termasuk telur...daun sop/daun bawang yang dicincang halus...bawang besar yang dipotong dadu..kalau korang nak pedas..lada merah dihiris halus...sedikit serbuk lada puteh...garam dan serbuk perasa secukup rasa..sedikit mentega...untuk disapu di kuali (gunakan yang jenis flat pan)....

...semua bahan2 nie (kecuali roti ngan mentega) disatukan...bila nak masak...senduk sedikit adunan nie tadi dan disapukan diatas roti lalu ditekap di kuali yang sudah dilumurkan dengan mentega...pastu masaklah sehingga dia golden brown gitu...kalau korang suka...di sebelah atas roti tadi bley jugak disapukan sikit ngan mentega dan dibalikkan jugak buat seketika...sedap makan begitu aja...atau dengan sos chili ngan timun yang dipotong tipis2...

nak buat jem nenas senang jer.

sebiji nenas... parut. jgn blender lak nanti tak dpt teksture nenas yg berserabut2 tu.
gula... jgn byk sgt nanti kencing manis lak ( leh ikut ler resepi jem mana2 berapa byk gula nak buh)
kulit kayu manis
cengkih

lepas parut jem tu tapis kuar air dia atau masak atas kuali tanpa buh bahan2 l;ain dulu sampai kering air nenas tu. nie penting tau kalau tak jem tu nanti tak lawa .peh tu baru buh gula and kulit kayu manis & cengkih. Masak  sampai golden color dan pekat.


Untuk kulit tart yg gebu.... jgn guna telur dlm tepung tart tu.

bahan kulit
gula yg dah di blender( sikit jer lebih gula pun nanti dia keras)

kacau gula + ( butter &  margerine ) sampai gula hancur. Jgn pukul sampai kembang . peh tu masukkan tepung . just gaul rata. Jgn over work bancuhan tu. tak payah uli2 lama2 gitu nanti keras cam batu tart korang.

peh tu nak buat tart cetak ker gulung ker gunting ker aper2 pun boleh ler.

bahan untuk kulit
250 gm mentega
500 gm tepung gandum
2 sudu besar gula kastor
1 sudu kecil esen vanila
1 kuning telur
Sedikit garam
jem nenas secukupnya

cara
1. Pukul mentega bersama gula sehingga kembang.
2. Masukkan telur kuning dan pukul bersama garam.
3. Masukkan tepung gandum dan gaulkan hingga sebati.
4. Gunakan aising nozzle berbentuk zig-zag dan tekan adunan selebar 2 1/2 cm .
5. Masukkan jem dan gulungkan.
6. Bakar sehingga kekuningan dalam oven 180'C.

Bahan-Bahan:
100 gram tepung berprotein tinggi
20 gram serbuk kopi/nescafe
100 gram gula halus
50 gram marjerin
1 biji telur
7.5 gram garam
15 gram yis
0.5 liter air

Bahan inti A:
190 gram gula
190 gram marjerin

Bahan inti B:
190 gram telur

Bahan inti C:
200 gram tepung berprotein tinggi
20 gram serbuk kopi

Cara-caranya:
Timbang kesemua bahan2 tersebut n masukkan kesemuanya ke dlm mesin pengadun roti.Biarkan mesin pengadun roti berpusing selama 5 min secara perlahan2.Kemudian tukarkan tahap kelajuan mesin kepada tahap yg lebih laju dlm masa 15 min.

Selepas kesemua bahan tersebut telah sebati n menjadi doh seperti yg dikehendaki,keluarkan dari bekas pengadun roti.Timbang doh sebanyak 60 gram setiap satu.

Untuk intinya pula,pukul bahan A hingga kembang.Masukkan bahan B sedikit demi sedikit dan pukul.Akhir sekali campur bahan C dan pukul hingga sebati.

Masukkan 20 gram marjerin ke dlm doh dan buatkan bentuk bulat.Apabila doh telah kembang,paipkan inti tersebut mengelilingi atas doh tersebut.

Bakar di dlm ketuhar pada suhu 200c hingga 210c dalam masa 12 minit.

Filling
Ingredients:
200 g salted butter, softened
1/2teaspoon vanilla flavouring
70 g brown sugar

Instructions:
Beat butter in electric mixer on medium speed with the paddle attachment for three minutes.
Blend in vanilla essence and brown sugar.
Spoon mixture into bowl and refrigerated until firm.
Divide mixture into 20 g portion into ball. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.


Topping

Ingredients:
200 g butter, softened
160 g icing sugar, sifted
3 Grade A eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon coffee flavouring(available from bakery supplies shop)
(You can use 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder dissolved in 1 tablespoon water instead of the coffee flavouring.)
A pinch of ground cinnamon can be added to the coffee flavouring for extra flavour.
200 g low protein (high ratio) flour, sifted

Instructions:
Beat butter and icing sugar in electric mixer with the paddle attachment on medium speed for five min. until mixture is light and fluffy. Gradually beat in eggs. Mix in coffee flavouring. Sift flour onto mixture and mix on low speed until combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Variasi: Boleh letak cincangan buah-buahan kegemaran


Sweet dough

Ingredients:
500g high protein flour, sifted
5g bread improver, sifted + 5 g bread softener
20 g milk powder, sifted
75 g castor sugar
6 g salt
8g day instant yeast
1 egg lightly beaten
270g water or milk(do not use milk powder if using milk)
60 g butter softened

Instructions:
Mix sifted flour, castor sugar and salt in electric mixer with dough hook on low speed for one min. Mix in yeast. Add egg and water or milk.Mix on low speed for another minute. Mix on medium speed for eight minutes. Mix in butter. Mix five minutes more on medium speed until soft, smooth and elastic(but not sticky) dough forms.
Remove dough from mixture and shape into a ball.

Divide the dough into 55 g portions(should get 17 portions). Roll each portion into a ball. Cover the balls of dough and leave to rest for 10 min.


To shape the buns:
Flatten a ball of dough with the palm of your hand. Place a ball of filling in the centre of the dough. Gather the edge and pinch to seal. (Be sure to seal well or the filling will leak out during baking.) Pat into shape and place on a greased baking tray. Repeat with remaining portions of dough . Place each bun about 7.5 cm apart on the baking trays.

Prove for 45 min in a warm place.
Pipe the topping on the buns in a spiral, starting from the centre.
Bake in preheated oven at 200 deg C for 12 to 15 min or until buns are lightly brown.

ROTI SANDWICH MAGGI AYAM

RAMUAN:

1. Maggi Ayam dan perencahnya
2. Roti sandwich
3. Sedikit air dan marjerin
4. 7 ulas bawang putih yang dihiris halus
5. Telur 5 biji

CARA (UNTUK SEORANG HIDANGAN):

1. Hancurkan Manggi dam masukkan ke dalam sebekas mangkuk
2. Masukkan sedikit air bagi mengembangkan dahulu Maggi
3. Panaskan kuali leper
4. Masukkan sedikit marjerin
5. Pecahkan telur dan terus kacau
7. Buang lebihan air dahulu di dalam mangkuk Maggi
8. Masukkan pula maggi yang telah dikembangkan tadi
9. Masukkan perencah Maggi dan kacau hingga sebati
6. Masukkan lagi sedikit majerin bersama bawang putih yang dihiris halus tadi dan terus kacau
7. Padamkann api apabila lihat telur sudah separuh masak
8. Terus lagi lagi selama 1 minit
9. Hidangan siap untuk dibedal bersama roti (Buat macam makan sandwich lah tu)

mee segera ayam/kari - rendamkan mee dlm air panas hingga 3/4 kembang

mayonis - optional
butter/majerin

sandwich maker

Panaskan sandwich maker
Sapukan butter pada kedua-dua permukaan roti
Gaulkan mee yang telah direndam bersama separuh perencah dlm peket maggi tu dan campurkan  mee bersama isi tuna dan sedikit serbuk lada hitam
Campur sedikit mayonis jika suka
Letak roti dlm sandwich maker dan isikan dgn campuran mee secukupnya, jgn terlalu padat
Kemudian tutup dgn kepingan roti satu lagi dan bakar hingga masak/garing

Jam french toast triangle [RasaCinta]

Ingredients:

1/4 cup jam, any flavor
6 keping roti sandwich
4 biji telur, pukul rata (wa pakai 2 biji jek..then substitute skimmed milk)
2 tbsp margarine
1/4 ts serbuk kayu manis

1. Sapu jam pada 3 keping roti; top with remaining bread slices, (cam buat sandwich.. )
2. Potong setengah diagonally.. ambil mangkuk, masukkan telur dgn serbuk kayu manis..
3. Celup sandwich, pastikan coat betul2.. sebelum tu panaskan margarine.. masak sampai golden brown on both sides.. wallaa!!

Roti Mariam [Browneyes]

450g plain flour - sieve
2 eggs
half cup warm water mixed with 1 tsp salt
2 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp cooking oil
oil for deep frying

Put the flour, eggs, ghee and oil into a large bowl. Mix with the hand, then add water, a little at a time, to form a soft dough. Knead dough for about 10 minutes. Shape into lumps the size of a small potato.

On a lightly floured board, roll each lump into a round pancake, about 0.5cm thick.

Deep fry the pancakes.

Serve with chicken or mutton curry

Roti Meriam [gRaVEyaRD]

1 kati tepung gandum
4 oz air panas suam
4 biji telur
2 oz minyak sapi
2 sudu teh baking powder
1 sudu teh garam
secukup minyak untuk mengoreng

cara-cara membuatnyer

Semua bahan diuli menjadi satu. Diperap selama 3 jam.
Ambil se gram, canai nipis dan goreng dengan minyak yang banyak
sehingga kuning

BAHAN-BAHAN

Tepung Halus                       300gm
(tepung kek ratio tinggi)        
Air suam (37 C)                     375gm
Gula                                        2gm
Garam                                     5gm
Yis                                          6gm
Baking Powder                        12gm

CARA

* adun dengan mixer tepung, 280gm air suam, gula dan garam dengan kelauan sederhana selama 3 min. Tabur yis ke dalam baki air (95gm) dan masukkan ke dalam adunan. Adun guna kelajuan tinggi selama 2 min.

* Tuang adunan ke dalam magkuk dan tutup dengan cling flim untuk menapainya. Biarkan ditempat yang panas selama 30-45 min sehingga adunan kembang dan kemudian kendur.

* tambah ngan baking powder , adun dengan kelajuan sederhana kemudian biarkan dia selama 30 min.

*panaskan kuali leper atau dry pan. letakkan bebrapa gegalng crumpet, lepas tu tuang adunan ke dalam crumpet tu. balikkan sehingga ia perang keemasan

*** pastikan ada ruang ruang udara terbentuk semasa mengoreng, kalau tidak tambah sedikit air suam dan adunan yang selebihnya.
