NAZA-Brabus showcased the Brabus Ultimate 112 at the Bangsar Shopping Complex Special Road Show to wow Brabus enthusiasts and the general public over the weekend. At the same time, Naza-Brabus also showed off for the first time in Malaysia - the RM580, 000 World’s Most Exclusive City Sports 'SmartForTwo' car.

With the exterior paint coated in any color of choice and the cockpit adorned by simply whatever taste desired by the owner, the Ultimate 112 is a machine to savor for a lifetime.

Based on the Smart ForTwo Cabrio, this limited edition, exclusive work of art carries the most significant number – 112, which represents the 112hp the engine produces and the production run of only 112 units worldwide. The vehicle is deemed the ultimate city sports car and represents a unique combination of extravagant equipment, sporty performance and agile handling with an added Brabus touch.

In addition to the custom paint the 112 sets itself further apart with a muscular body kit that includes a front spoiler, rocker panels and Widestar fender flares for front and back.

The glossy black Monoblock VI double-spoke wheels are mounted on the front axle in size 7Jx18 with size 205/35 R 18 high-performance tyres. At the rear, 8.5Jx18 wheels and 235/30 R 18 tyres further accentuate grip factor and road dominance.

A set of height-adjustable coil-over suspension completes the handling package of the 112. With these modifications the 112 offers the perfect platform for the powerful three-cylinder turbo engine.

The engine produces 112hp at 5,750rpm and achieves a peak torque of 150Nm from 3,300 to 3,900rpm. It sprints from 0 – 100km/h in 9.5 seconds with a top speed that is electronically-limited to 170 km/h.

Shifting in the 112 is done either automatically or with steering-wheel paddles just like an F1 car. The paddles are mounted to an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel.

Accompanied by a stainless-steel sport exhaust and dual cast aluminum tailpipes, the 112 has a rather endearing outlook.

Interior-wise, the 112 features soft and breath-able Brabus Mastik leather is stitched with color-contrasting seams. Its concept includes embossed Brabus emblems as well as the instrument panel, instrument bezels, tachometer, speedometer, clock, turn-signal lever and door handles, all color-coordinated with the exterior.

Additional features include, stainless-steel foot pedals with anti-slip padding together with an aluminum shifter and emergency brake lever, and the climate control system, radio and a navigation system for temperature and entertainment purposes.

Available for a hefty price of RM 580,000, the 112 is truly unique, and the vehicle is tailor-made by NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman, Dato’ Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin himself.

The other highlight at the roadshow included the Brabus ECO PowerXtra CGI performance kits (above), offering powerful engine tuning for the Mercedes 200, 250 and 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY models with direct-injection gasoline engines. Upon installing the performance kit, the 3.5 liter CGI BlueEFFICIENCY is said to gain additional power of up to 18hp. Performance of these models see a marked improvement and it is verified to achieve top speed from 250 to 267 km/h.
