Okay, this is something I found throughLivejournal. I was not sure whether I should be posting it up here butI felt the need to because I think this will help others understandwhat Minho is currently going through. So here goes nothing.
Quote I work in the medical field, and bear with me here I'm about to get semi-technical but I'll keep it as non tl;dr as I can.
The injury Minho has is a ruptured calf muscle. In that type of injurythere are 3 different levels, which are referred to as "grades". Grade1 is what people call a "pull", where he would have stretched themuscle too far and caused inflammation. Short of taking a few Tylenoland sittin on his ass for a few weeks, he'd be alright in about 2-3weeks. Grade 2 is a partial tear, where some of the muscle fibers wouldbe torn but the muscle would still be attached, 5 -8 weeks recoverytime minimum. Grade 3 is a complete and total tear of the muscle, ifyou were to cut his leg open, his calf muscle would be hanging outbecause it's literally ripped in half and not attached anymore. If thiswere the case, he'd need surgery to reattach his muscle, and reattachthe torn ends. He would need about 3-4 months of recovery time, plusphysical therapy after that.

For the last 3/4 days or so, I have been reading some very hurtful comments towards Minho on different sites. Some people blame him for SHINee's comeback beingdelayed. I thought it was necessary to post this up for people to understand what Minho is going through. I did a little research on ruptured calf muscle myself and also asked my doctor about it. All I can say is, Minho is currently going through something very painful and as a Shawol, ithurts me to see him getting bashed and blamed for SHINee's comebackbeing delayed. So when I read screechul'sentry, I thought she explained things well. I thought it would be niceif others were able to read it as well and at least have some sort ofan idea as to what Minho is currently going through.

Fans have been disappointed that SM Entertainment hasn’t mentioned much about SHINee’s new comeback date, however fear no more! SM Entertainment has confirmed that the boys will be returning as soon as next week!
The agency stated, “Further teasers will be released up to and on the 19th. SHINee is preparing to make their official comeback on the 23rd (Music Bank).”
Minho has been recovering fast from his calf injury with physical therapy, so they’re hoping they can continue with the comeback date of July 23rd if all goes well.
So with their scheduled comeback delayed by a week, the tease continues with the release of a group photo where fans can yet again spazz about their fine looks.
Their new album will consist of 9 songs, and their official website will be updated with a medley highlight of their new songs later today. Their album will still be released on the 19th. Stay tuned!
