MILAN - The Nerazzurri were back to winning ways on Saturday evening with a 5-0 drubbing of Messina at the Giuseppe Meazza. A first-half hat-trick from Adriano and second-half strikes from Sinisa Mihajlovic and Christian Vieri ended the series of seven consecutive Serie A draws.
The Brazilian gave Inter a dream start, sliding home from close range in the third minute after his initial shot was parried by Messina keeper Eleftheropoulos. The Emperor scored his second ten minutes later with a trademark left-footed long-range drive which found the bottom right-hand corner, then completed his hat-trick on 36 minutes, hooking his twentieth goal of the season into the net after connecting with a Mihajlovic corner.
The Nerazzurri were reduced to ten men four minutes after the restart when Francesco Toldo was red-carded for a last-man foul on Yanagisawa. Fabian Carini came on to make his debut for Inter, and immediately showed his credentials with a series of fine saves.
Sinisa Mihajlovic put the result beyond doubt on 55 minutes with a blistering shot which rattled the left post then came off Eleftheropoulos' back and into the net, then Fabian Carini rose to the occasion again, saving Nicola Amoruso's 76th-minute penalty after Cristiano Zanetti brought down Rafael.
Christian Vieri completed the rout six minutes from time when he ran on to Favalli's long ball forward, held off a challenge from Rezaei then smahed home.
Inter entertain Belgian champions Anderlecht in Matchday 6 of the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Aku pun sempat tengok game nie tadi.
First half memang tak bosan.I think it was Inter 100%.So many chances.Adriano memang class.He should have scored 5 goals but missed 2 great 1 on 1 chances.But he still got his hat-trick though.
Second half,kelemahan defence Inter terserlah jugak akhirnya.Toldo kena buang padang.Carini made his debut for Inter.His debut in the Serie A!And guess what?He did very well.He even saved a penalty kick!Well done Carini!Rasanya Inter tak perlu la beli GK baru untuk gantikan Toldo.Walaupun main ngan 10 orang,aku rasa Inter masih menguasai perlawanan dan dapat sumbat 2 gol lagi tue.Adriano nampak tamak sikit.Mungkin dia nak cicirkan jauh si Montella ngan Shevchenko kut?Vieri makin lama makin bagus.He is slowly becoming the great 'old' Christian Vieri.
Anyway,3 points at last. |

Inter kalau nak memang main sepuluh orang pun memang cuma nasihat aku kat inter ni harap jangan jadi macam musim lepas belasah Reggina sampai 6-0 lepas tu mula la riak ....bila lead 2-0 kosong dah macam tak nak main lepas tu baru ada akal milan balas dng 3-2 ...!!! Harap permain inter belajar dari sejarah lepas :lol
To Toldo kalau pergadil cikal boleh le last-man foul dapat kad kuning tapi dng Colina terima la Kad merah .......!! :kant:
