On Friday poor old Yamachan has 9½ hours of scheduled programming ahead of him on NTV alone. To be fair, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he will get 9½ of face time. In some cases he might only get a 5-minute segment in a 2-hour show. But fact is that he will appear in some way, shape or form on almost every single NTV program that airs between 5:20am and 3:50pm, except the lunchtime news and the cooking show that follows it. So that’s a 30-minute lunch break for Yamada, and when he’s done with NTV he’ll head over to TV Asahi for Music Station, by which time he’ll probably feel (and look) like a zombie. Poor kid. But hey, fame comes at a price.
