The Principles of English Landscape Design
Unity - all of the different elements of the landscape fit together to create a whole
Simplicity - keep things simple to begin with. (mula dari focal - bbq area, wakaf/pergola/arbor)
Balance - Symmetrical and Asymmetrical (sgt2 digunapakai dlm english style)
Color - direct your attention to a specific area of the garden (bunga kaler macam2 dan bright)
Natural transition - arrangement of different elements with varying textures, forms, colors, or sizes ( balance antara warna bunga dan daun)
Line - way beds, walkways, and entryways move and flow (sgt2 penting dan guna elemen batu kapur / bukan pebles)
Proportion - refers to the size of elements in relation (start from fokal mengecil ke arah kaw lapang/walkway)
Repetition - several different elements repeatedly. (random tp bole nmpk synchronous nye) |

ni gambar tepi umah..... ingat nk wat water feature kat tepi tu... tp mcm kecik je kawasan... tu yg x wat apa lg.... kosong je.... apa pendapat indah? |

proportion water feature tu dgn garden space tu ade lbey kurang mcm ni ke umi?
kalo water feature kecik, mtrl pun kena kecik jugak... mcm peble stone or slate yg texturenya rapat2... baru nmpk besar water feature tu..
xpun, feature wall kena besar kan saiz tp miniature kan efek nya (include pokok2)...
efek proportion ni penting.. mcm slate yg umi psg tu mcm x kena je kan.. sbb pebles nye besar (so line yg di buat besar jugak).. kalo pki yg sederhana kecil sket lg balance, compare dgn saiz slate tu..
indah rasa kalo nak cover balik bagi dia balance , rumput nanti kena ade efek jugak.. rumput near along walkways biar tinggi sket..
xpun, wat rumput yg berlainan (tapi susah sket la)... |
