Hello.. nama pena pada penulis ni optional.. tp apa pandangan anda semua berkenaan sama ada penulis tu patut guna nama betul ker atau guna nama pena?
kalau diikutkan nama pena ni utk penulis zaman rusuhan, masa zaman nak berjuang demi kemerdekaan.. now, ramai nak guna maybe sebab nama asal kurang komersil atau sbb peribadi dsbnya..
psstt..saya sampai skang masih mencari siapa dia Zehann Ur Rakhie..:hmm:
oklah, bye ![](static/image/smiley/default/bye.gif) |

other reasons would be...they would like to
add a bit of glamor...
add element of mystery...
or element or mysticism...
doesn't want to be known...
wanted to be private n confidential...
or a female writer using a pseudonym of a male one...
for marketing purposes...and vice versa... |

Pseudonym
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Alias" redirects here. For other uses, see Alias (disambiguation).
A pseudonym (Greek: false name) is a fictitious name used by an individual as an alternative to his or her legal name. A pseudonym is distinct from an allonym, which is the name of another actual person, usually historical, assumed by someone in authorship of a work of art; such as when ghostwriting a book or play, or in parody, or when using a front such as by screenwriters blacklisted in Hollywood in the '50s, '60s, and '70s. To be pseudonymous means that the person is using a pseudonym. The antonym is real name, meaning a full legal name, or some recognisable shortened form of it such as Fred Smith for Frederick John Smith, with or without titles (Dr. and so on).
In some cases, the pseudonym has become the legal name of the person using it.

Pseudonyms in print
When used by an author, a pseudonym is also called a pen name (or in French nom de plume.)
Some authors use pseudonyms for a variety of reasons; for example, to experiment with a new genre without the risk of upsetting regular readers. One author may have several pseudonyms depending on the genre. This use of pseudonyms is especially common if the new genre is of a somewhat risqu |

war kar kar...sib baik a ko ader bakat jadi pembaca jer...kalu tak dapatler baca buku by Bulat Sepet....kes kes kes...
pen name ni juga penting untuk mengekalkan anonymity, to protect somebody.
macam Anne Rice...dier ader pen name gak....
1. Anne Rampling
2. A. N. Roquelaure
this is because she was writing under the genre Erotica for both of the pen-names. she didnt want her family members to get embarassed by her writing. nice thought huh?
but now she's out - in the sense that she already admitted to those 2 names being her...previously not so ![](static/image/smiley/default/tongue.gif)
Rice has also published erotica under the pen names Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure, the latter of which was used primarily for more adult-oriented material.
