Walk the talk - that's my first choice or putting the  money where your mouth is more apt. Seriously, it's easier said than done in most cases. When tackling certain issues, you put everything at stake. A persons integrity, honour, capabilities are all put to a test. One had to realise, when you're adamant to "walk the talk" - there are risks involved.  

A majority of us, just like to play it safe and going by the "wait & see" approach. Mere mortals fear to thread on unchartered waters. Somebody has to be the first, a pioneer - setting a trailblazing path for others to follow. As a friend used to remark - " People...there are more sheeps than there are sheppards!" I retorted - " Better be sheep than be the sacrificial lamb!" He paused for a while and shoots back, "Aren't we all?"

Had to agree with old bugger - you'll only be noted when you dare stand to be counted. : )

Some have been referred to quote "we have to talk the talk while walking the walk if we are to resolve any kind of problems fast. Nonsensical talks and no walk is the reality today. The talks that have hitherto taken place have skirted the core issues and have been centered on the peripheral non-essentials. For how long are we going to pursue this directionless and meaningless path by only talking the talk?"...

Walk the talk.   i don't  trust words,  i trust action.
