Have you ever been in a situation where you asked, "Why me? Why does it have to happen to me??"
How did you get over it or haven't you?

That happens to everyone. The why me's and why is this happening to me. It's normal, we have minutes of self-pity   where everything comes crashing down to say YES! It's happening to you.. Get over it?? Maybe not totally but there must be that small silver lining and you just have to look around to see that you need to count your fortunes to.

yup, happens to everyone... if it didn't happen to me, it might happen to someone else.. and that person would be asking the same.. i'm still trying to cope up with it.. setiap manusia mempunyai kekuatan untuk mengharungi masalah, cuma kekuatan itu perlu dicari

Ah.....in the "Why?" game, the supernatural can provide kind of persuasive answers in situations where no other answer presents itself....

When a misfortune happens I guess there are two choices that one can make...........either "drop dead" or stand up and work out one's action plan right?

is not the choices but the FREEDOM to choose, in further thought is the human capacity to think forward , due to the development of forebrain , capacity to be creative

it is not the choices that make us happy, it is the CONTROL, the power, the ability to make the choice , if it isnt there, we can simply create almost anything, i.e. progress i.e. the value of being independence

what use thousand of choices if ONE IS IMPRISONED,  the dangerous one is the 'dream/fear imprisonment'

the answer to 'why me' is, 'why not you?'

kalau tanya GOD why me, then GOD answered WHY NOT pun susah jugak. Aku cuma nak fikir positif aje, kalau aku yg kena may be sbb aku special masa that situation

agree.  To some people, the question of "why me?" arised especially aftr series of 'difficulties' (though not necessary difficult).  Usually when comparison is involve, then the 'why me' will also arise.  Some people keep asking 'why me' upon comparing with others or after series of challenges that they have gone through.  The danger of asking 'why me' is we tend to see 'unjustice' , thus we perceived that we are the less fortunate.  However, 'why me' can also lead someone to be more thankful and to to be more appreciative in life.  Again - how wise do we use "why me?"

used to say this to myself damn A LOT... especially during my teenage years. its not that i had a bad one, just a over-thought childhood. when tragedy happened, start to sulk and depressed, suicide notes, and bla bla bla....you know the flow.

then it hit me last few months, acquainted with someone and she teached me that life would be vanish anytime so instead of thinking the negative, her experience battling with a crippling sickness had me living every moment of my life not regretting it, and  LEARN evry mistake you make.

*she is 27 yrs old now and been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 2 yrs ago. for every minute of her life her brain cells and nerve system will detriorate slowly. most survived being on life support in the end. its a nerve problem.   she got a lovely baby boy and she's like living a slow death.

Right.  Just to share - Mrs A keep asking herself 'why me' after her divorce.  Her dreams of having a peaceful marriage shattered.  Why me?  To her, that's the end of almost everything.

Mrs B, too viewed her divorce as a great challenge in her life.  Yes, she also asked 'why me' but after a while, she discovered - Oh Perhaps God wants me to develop, to learn new things - well God has chosen me for some special reasons.

The most important thing is - see the beauty behind WHY ME
