Toyota unveils all-new Vios
The OTR price is as follows:
1.5E(A) RM78,700.00
1.5G(A) RM84,800.00
1.5S(A) RM88,100.00
KUALA LUMPUR: The all-new Toyota Vios made its much-awaited debut yesterday, boasting a complete new look, both in the interior and exterior.
UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd, which assembles and distributes Toyota vehicles in the country, unveiled the popular sedan at a media preview at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.
UMW Toyota Motor managing director Datuk David Chen said the latest generation of the Toyota Vios, which was first introduced in Malaysia in 2003, is expected to continue to maintain its position as a leader in its class.
“We're confident that the vehicle will have strong demand from customers in both the peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak,” he said.
The monthly target set for the sale of the new vehicle was 2,400 units, he added.
The new Toyota Vios will be available in three versions – 1.5E, 1.5G and 1.5S – with a choice of four colours.
On the estimated price of the new Toyota Vios, Chen said the on-the-road price with insurance was RM88,600 for the 1.5S, RM85,300 for the 1.5G and RM78,900 for the 1.5E.
