New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn

The Twilight Saga: New Moon has officially been intheaters a week bringing in an additional $42.5 million overThanksgiving and already there is a release date for Eclipse and talk about the last of the series, Breaking Dawn.For those living under a rock, New Moon made its debut Friday, November20, 2009. The reported release date for the third installation,Eclipse, is June 30, 2010; a mere seven months away.
What the actors are looking forward to with the Eclipse scenes:
Actor Nikki Reed says Eclipse will explore her character Rosalie's tragic background with a sequence from the 1930s. "I think they want to see the Cullen’s' history. It gives me the opportunity to explain myself," said Nikki.
Ashley Greene says, “I'm really excited to see myfight sequence,” she said. “There's some playful moments between Jasperand Alice that I'd like to see. They take parts of your character andput it into your fight sequence, so mine's kind of a Cirque duSoleil-ish sequence, so I want to see it.”
Kellan Lutz says, “We went through the six weeksof fight training ... and they trained us so well that we justdominated our choreography moves…and they're going to look really cool.”
Whatever their favorite scenes may be, the fans are ready to see them.It’s been a week and fans are getting desperate for more. It would seemthis craze is no where near ending.
Is Breaking Dawn going to be made?
Most of the rumors about Breaking Dawn do seem to be mostly rumors sofar since it’s been speculated that the final movie of the four-partseries may follow in Harry Potter’s footsteps by filming the movie intwo parts. Michael Welch who plays Mike Newton says in an interview, “Yeah,they're not going to make 'Breaking Dawn,'…..of course, they are. Ihope I'm not giving away any secrets here," he added playfully. "NowI'm going to get a call from Summit later: 'Why'd you give it away? Itwas going to be a big surprise!'” He then adds, “Could you imagine ifthey didn't make it? If they just said, 'We're going to move on; we'regoing to move on to our next Nicolas Cage movie,'” Welch teased. “It doesn't make any sense. Of course, it's going to be made; it just is.” |
