Nuclear weapons are also a key factor, something that has never been used since the bombing of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It would be good if the writer would include the source of his database. I think some information may be inaccurate as to fighter aircraft and ships. We all know that the USAF and USN are a distant image of what they were during the cold war. Russia is also still trying to rebuild and I am unsure as they would have such a large Frontal Aviation and Navy. The war of terror has depleted resources for the UK to maintain a strong fleet of Tornados and new acquisitions such as the Typhoon.
Your data on purchasing power is also interesting. I wonder what source. With a a population of about 1.2 billion, the purchasing power in the PRC may not be so accurate. So too with India.
