Whenever you want to buy a car, and you want to use back what ever NCD (non-claim discount) that you have, you either get the salesman to do it or you have to call your insurance company and get them to send you a certificate announcing how much is your NCD.
Well, Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad (ISM) has made our lives easier (hooray for ISM!).
By just going to their website, you can then key in your car registration number and your Mykad and the online system will inform you of your current NCD status.
Do remember that the NCD can go up to a maximum of 55 per cent (that's RM550 if your policy is RM1,000) and in certain cases, the insurance company wants you to pay the full amount before your previous insurance company can confirm the NCD, which only then you will get back the balance.
With this system, you just print out your result and show it to your new insurance company, which will also check it online using the same system.

dulu2 ncd i memang dah maksimum...tapi skrg kreta dah maksimum year utk 1st party...ada lagi tak ncd i...skrg dah kena beli 3rd party pny insuran
