The capitals Talliinn, Riga and Vilnius, all have preserved medieval old towns, designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. If you want to do a quick tour of the Baltic States, just spend time at these magnificent old towns, just like we did earlier this year.
Let's start with a slideshow of the sights of Old Tallinn. We flew in from St Petersburg (Russia) to Tallinn to start our Baltic tour.
terima kasih sebab sudi bukak thread negara yang belum pernah lagi dibuka di bod travel. walaubagaimanapun, adalah lebih elok jika encik sudi berkongsi pengalaman di negara tersebut sbg cth, ape tempat-tempat menarik di sana yang wajib dilawati, makanan halal yang ada, mode of transportation yang available. saya pasti encik banyak pengalaman yang boleh dikongsi instead of just posting a video from your own experience which i guess the rest of us would enjoy it but only a lil bit of info that we can gain.
tapi bagi saya tak salah kan kalo boleh type sedikit sebanyak pasal negara-negara tersebut? kalo betol nak berkongsi... tak perlu tunggu orang bertanyakan..
The 3 Baltic States are in the Schengen Area, so no visae required for Malaysian passport holders. Over there I prefer to travel with Air Baltic (LCC, based in Riga, Latvia) with connections to most western European cities. Or you may opt to go to Helsinki and take a boat across the Baltic Sea to Tallinn (all Schengen Area). Within the Baltic States, train is an option, but air travel is also quite affordable if booked in advance.
Anyway, if you go to the Baltics, it's a pity if you do not visit St Petersburg in Russia, which is just an hour away by plane from Tallinn. But then you need a Russian visa, which is expensive and involves a lot of hassle. I hear Russia might abolish visa requirement for Malaysians soon, so you might want to wait for that before visiting Russia.
